Why do they keep referring to Scott as Scott Summers? I'm sure they've known Scott for many years as well, right?

@goldenspectre: I really noticed that while reading the dialogue. Maybe they're mentally trying to distance themselves from him?

wow. Xmen = always interesting

Bendis' pacing may be slow as he'll some times... But he can write a pretty good story when he wants to!!!!

I wonder if the reason no one is responding to Henry is because this takes place around the time Steve Rogers learned about the Illuminati?

Other thought: Is this also seeding how marvel plans to reunite the split X-Men. After the events in Axis, the cold shoulder from the world, and Logan being dead, it does appear as if they will be burying hatchets at this point.

If Bachalo is off the Art. I will finally pick up this series. He doesn't do it for me as an artist.

Beast needs to examine Storm o_O

Was thinking/wondering the same thing...maybe even hoping for it. Personally I think Marvel has more X-books than they have content/stories for. If they do reunite the teams I hope the Uncanny and Amazing X-books get merged (and for god sake just rename "Wolverine and the X-men" to the "New Mutants").

Lmao.....anyone else ever notice how Bendis' X-Men books always have a distinct divergence between the cover and what's in the book?

I feel the need to bring up something in regards to Beast's whining.

Beast, how the hell many times have X-Men ended up, oh, I dunno, DESTROYING ENTIRE CITIES JUST TO DEAL WITH ONE THREAT? How many times have people gotten killed because of mutants like Magneto and the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants? Have you forgotten what Scarlet Witch did? Have you forgotten what Cassandra Nova did? Have you forgotten time and time again mutants, and you X-Men, have ended up causing more harm than good? Yet you're shocked! SHOCKED that people are terrified of you! That they don't want to be near you! The fact is, you cause trouble everywhere you go, you guys are walking disaster magnets! In every continuity. EVERY one. I mean for God's sake, a few of you so-called heroes tried to TAKE OVER THE WORLD just a few years ago! You seriously cannot expect everybody to just drop everything and help you, you stupid idiot! Especially when everybody else has problems of their own! In the Marvel universe, there's issues that range from "Crime lords with superpowers are tearing up our streets" to "alien invasions". They don't have time for you, they've got enough on their hands and you're all big boys who should handle this yourself. So quit your whining you hypocritical prick, stop talking about how much humanity sucks, and look at how often MUTANTS have nearly brought about the end or subjugation of the world ten times over in the span of a mere decade compared to the worst of humanity.

And to be a little corrected, the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants doesn't exist anymore (and for a really long time) and Magneto is not a genocidal and is something he's not guilty of. Humans are not saints and neither the guy from your next door. This humanity is full of bigotry and hate. The mutants or Magneto has nothing to do with Cassandra (or SENTINELS) actions that took place in Genosha. Scarlet Witch didn't mean to do this "No More Mutants" because it was all DOOM's fault. And Cyclops was right? About what? Humanity? Don't this sound familiar to you guys? And Xavier? Was Cyclops right about that? Really? How come? Don't you think he's considered a villains? And the X on his front head? Mean what? For EVOLUTION? And what about AVX? Did he played the hero side or the monster? Should I keep question myself here?

Honestly, I can't wait for this era of X-Men to end. The art's good, but the character designs are terrible. Only thing to come out of Bendis-era X-Men I've liked is Tempus.
