Preview: DARK KNIGHT III Mini-Comic, GREEN LANTERN

DARK KNIGHT III: THE MASTER RACE #3 goes on sale on February 24, and each issue of the comic series also features a mini-book as well. DC has revealed a preview to the upcoming mini-comic, which features Hal Jordan.

With the next chapter of DARK KNIGHT III: THE MASTER RACE, readers will learn more about the plans of the newly-freed Kandorians in the main story, but this 12-page supplemental tale sees an alien-looking (for details, check out Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Strikes Again) Hal Jordan’s otherwise idyllic life interrupted by a distress call from Earth. On his arrival, Hal is greeted by three strangers, looking for a God to worship…

This third mini-comic is co-written by Frank Miller and Brian Azzarello, with art breakdowns by John Romita Jr. and finishes by Frank Miller. In addition to the Book 3 periodical version (scheduled for late February), the Collector’s Edition hardcover publishes both the main story and the mini-comic in a same-size “prestige” format approximately 2 weeks after the periodical hits retailer shelves.

I can't believe they went through the whole process of putting this together. This is just terrible. They were talking about Land tracing and being repetitive in another thread. I would much rather see that than this.

Not the biggest fan of either of the artists but I kinda love this. Can't wait to see how it is.

Is this a joke? Why is it that companies like Boom, dynamite, Image, are getting all this great art and DC just...this. DC is becoming Nintendo. Relying all on old titles, old artists, no 3rd party stuff with titles which other companies are thriving off of like Star wars, James Bond, etc. DC has effin scoody doo and He-Man...

Wow...I usually refrain from being too harsh on artists, but this...this is just pathetic. Im a huge fan of GL and a huge Miller fan (especially his Daredevil) but I literally wouldn't take this for free.

I don't know what everyone is complaining about, it's better than DKSA art which cost more than this issue and wasn't a mini comic that comes inside an issue.
