Meh. Still has some potential. I'll wait and see how it goes before I buy it.

Don't know that I'm really the audience for this. Not feeling the whole pop star vibe. I do like the Annie Wu art though. Probably end up checking out the first issue.

I'm really liking this! cool art, a redefinition of a character,I'm curious how the story will play out.

this is a taste thing with the art, it's a different style which some will like and some won't, same thing as Jeff Lemire's art

Although I like art, I think I'll have to pass it.

Eh. The art style.. I'm just not feeling it. But the story itself seems promising so I'll be checking this out.

I really liked Annie Wu's art in her issues of Hawkeye with Matt Fraction, and so this piqued my interest when I first heard about it. I'm definitely going to be reading the first few issues. The premise for the story here looks fun as well.

God knows I don't want to spend 4 bucks on what looks like A high school girls doodle book. Couldn't at least make the cover slightly atteactive? I hate the art and I don't understand the rock band thing. Only getting this because I really want Dinah to go somewhere and this will hopefully lead to some more feats and character for her.

I do think art is subjective, but I don't understand the people that seriously think the art is bad.

One of my favourite female superhero straight after Wonder Woman and Storm but I never understood why a human would go out to fight crime like that.

Dinah's face (mostly chin) looks a bit masculine.

DC doesn't get enough credit for keeping a lot of their books at 2.99 still when marvel doesn't sell a single 2.99 book anymore

Fish nets, that's about all I'm liking about this right now.

@kfabz-23: Well in her early days, she wore her mother´s costume. Then she had several costumes, some with with pants or with or witout fishnets. In N52 costume, she didnt wore fishnets but was the light that make her leggings looking alike fishnets at also nanotech that could repair any damage. Here she will get different costumes on her solo. Mostly she wears shoes or boots with no heels but in sometimes artists and writers make her wearing heels.

Black Canary's never struck me as a punk rock chick...

On another note, I wonder how many who are not into this art thought about panel and character layout in addition to the style of the lines/drawing.

@vitalius: I think it needs to be updated, something in touch with the character but something more logical.

This book is not made for me. Moving along now.

Don't mind the art but when I think of her and Barbara in Birds of Prey... or even way, way back when she was in World's Finest...

Spider-Gwen is cool, but mostly because she's Bat-girl mixed with Dazzler, so..

The art looks amazing and so does the premise. I'm on board.

I adore Black Canary and she is deserving of her own title, but this is atrocious. Very disappointing.

I would pick this up if the art was to my liking and the coloring is what bothers me as well. The backgrounds are just one color which comes off as lazy and boring to me.
