More 'Marvel NOW' Covers revealed: UNCANNY AVENGERS & ALL-NEW X-MEN [Update]

Okay, here we go again. So far today we've seen the cover to THOR: GOD OF THUNDER #2, IRON MAN #2 and now we have a couple more.

Marvel has released the cover to UNCANNY AVENGERS #2 over at Marvel.com along with a tiny bit of information.

This series will be written by Rick Remender with art by John Cassaday. It takes place after the events of AVENGERS VS. X-MEN and Captain America and Wolverine "begin a quest to create a sanctioned Avengers unit cast from the ranks of the Avengers and the X-Men."

To make things more interesting, Red Skull will be making his return just in time to warrant the new team. Looks like the team will consist of Cap, Wolverine, Havok, Thor, Rogue and the Scarlet Witch.

Meanwhile the cover to ALL-NEW X-MEN #1 has popped up over at Newsarama.

The solicit for the issue over at Marvel states the following:

In the wake of the events of Avengers Vs. X-Men, the mutant world is set to receive a big blast from the past, in the form of the original X-Men! How will the young, unsuspecting mutants from the past – including Jean Grey – react to the conflict and turmoil that has engulfed the world of their future?

Jean's back...sort of.

Uncanny Avengers cover's great definitely getting that. The All new X-men cover looks like a connecting one because it looks like an arrow is pointing in.

Nice Red Skull. I am not particularly looking forward to All New X-Men, since it does not seem "All New" at all.

I'm very excited for both of these titles. I like the X-Men art. I really want to see the interior art for Uncanny Averngers. I haven't cared for either cover..

I love the old school style of the Uncanny Avengers cover, stoked for that book.

My thoughts exactly. God forbid we let any of the excellent new characters from Wolverine & the X-Men get a chance in the limelight.....

So we've now got two Icemen running around, two Beasts, one is furry, the other is not, two Angels, where one hasn't seen Apocalypse and the other is significantly more powerful and developed and two Scott's. Damn this is going to get convoluted and confusing.

I hope Wolverine isn't in any of Hickmans books beacuse anything with him in it is an instant "no buy" for me

Uncanny Avengers seems like it could be rad. All New X-Men seems like a good idea for a mini series or something, but I don't know how well it'll play as an ongoing.

I like the cover for Uncanny Avengers #2 much more than the first issue. I'm getting pretty hyped for a lot of these titles. Too bad I cant afford many of them due to double shipping and $3.99 price tag.

UNCANNY AVENGERS COVER. SO GOOD.

Although, anything Cassaday does is an instant classic.

I'm actually excited for All New X-Men. I think it's a very interesting premise, and as another person has said, Bendis handles teenagers very well, so I'm not that worried really.

Ugh... I really dislike the uniforms on All New X-Men... Couldn't they have used the X-Men: First Class outfits and called it canon??

Either way I'm pretty stoked for that series. Uncanny Avengers, not so much.

I'm looking forward to both these series. I love Rick Remender's work on Uncanny X-Force and Venom so I have high hopes for this book. I'm interested to see what Bendis does with this X-men. The villain being the Red Skull from the WW2, that is insane. When I first with heard about the Red Skull from WW2 coming back, I thought of Captain America coming back but being a lot worse. No knowledge of the present day, its practically a fresh start for him since WW2. Oh man that guy is going to be messed up.

Well from what i have heard those original X-Men are our X-men from the past come to see how much of a hell our present their future has become for Mutants so that IS Jean but younger Jean from the past. either way im a huge X-men fan and i love the cover so i will be getting this and X-men Legacy

If Ant-Man's team is not Fantastic Four why do they have the number 4 on them

this whole avx rubbish has been a total hype avengers and slate x-men campaign.

@Backflip: three icemen if you count the AoA iceman that X-force battled and killed. Not to mention a Jean Grey with no connection to the phoenix force, omega level status or anything that made her a strong and interesting character.

I still think bringing the original five to the present is a terrible idea. I'm still checking it out because Bendis could be bringing his 'A' game like he is currently with Ultimate Spider-man.

Uncanny Avengers is obviously going to be good. The cover pretty boss if you ask me.

The X-Men aren't fighting the Red Skull the Avengers are Also this Red Skull is a clone of the original with his WW2 memory's

Actually I dont like the "All New" X-Men idea as a whole.

I LOVE the covers. I am so excited to read the new FF by Allred. Seeing the characters by Bagley is cool too. I want to know more about them, who they are and why they are there. Does it mean something that the FF's costumes are designed to look like Ant Man's? I am not sure I'll be reading it by I love Immonen's art. Looks awesome. Might just get it if he is doing the interior art. I actually am interested in seeing how past Jean will react to present Cyclops and how past Cyclops will react to his future.

Seriously though, what is happening with all of these series...

If they're bringing back the original team of x-men and some of those characters exist now how will that work? Is it that they will form again to be the original x-men or what? But that doesn't make sense considering Beast is on the cover without fur which makes me think they are bringing them back from the past. What's going on here?

i'm debating over FF now. I got nothing against Fraction writing it. Fantastic Four yes, FF, not sure. I haven't read Hickman's run on FF yet so I'm still debating over that. I love Fraction's run Iron Man. Sad to see it go.

For the original X-Men should be interesting. Cyclops has gone crazy with the Phoenix Force, Jean Grey is dead, Angel became corrupted then got purified and now has no memory prior to his rebirth at the end of The Dark Angel Saga, Beast got hairy, and Iceman is a teacher. Can't wait to see the look on their faces. OH WAIT, what would Xavier say if or when he sees them??????????? I'm looking forward to this. I'm going to give the book a chance. FF, not sure yet.

And they say this is nothing like a reboot. And the young/past x-team coming to the future is the dumbest reason to bring them back.

I hope this group (of original X-Men) learn from their current selves what not to do. It's basically like when Trunks visited his past self in DBZ same thing but in reverse. Geeze for comic fans some people really find ways to overcomplicate stuff. BTW why would they wear their First Class gear when this is the original X-Men? LOL think stuff through. Btw Ant-Man's squad has the ugliest costume ever.

The covers are great but the stories have to be just as great otherwise this R'evolution/relaunch is a flop.

FF looks like a freaking joke... The other ones look awesome and I cant wait.

I have faith in Remender to make something that sounds like a cliché rather engaging...Well...I'm hoping....mildly hoping..

Remender and Cassady is pretty kick ass team, if they have give them enough time and creative control to flesh out the story they want to tell it might turn into something worthwhile. I'm also hyped to see Havok on the team

...I'm glad that Marvel is doing this. It is a good place to jump off the currents train, similar to New 52 for me.
