Marvel Unveils Adi Granov's CAPTAIN MARVEL #1 Variant

We're all eagerly awaiting the release of Carol Danvers' return to having a solo book, Marvel is teasing us with a look at the variant cover by Adi Granov. With Carol taking on the Captain Marvel mantle, she's getting a new costume and will be getting some new responsibilities.

Oh, wow. That is a beautiful cover. It makes her new costume stand out more than the regular cover. And she doesn't have that weird hairdo.

I really dig the costume without the weird headpiece. I think it's a good cross between Carol's Ms. Marvel costume and the traditional Captain Marvel uniform. The mask thing I'm not a fan of.

As always, Granov's work is second-to-none. Love Carol's new look, and that hair is far better than the long fauxhawk she seems to actually be sporting!

The costume with the helmet, and drawn by Dexter Soy looks very good in comic from the teasers we've seen, this does not look great to be honest.

The costume sucks but the artwork is awesome.

Great cover. I like the new costume and promotion to Captain Marvel, the title Ms. Marvel just seemed so dated.

I actually kinda like the hair, its weird, but it works in a weird way. I can't say I'm as much of a fan of the costume, I love the idea of a flight suit cos she used to be in the air force but the symbols and colours are very wonder womany, it could be a bit more distinct.

If only I hadn't sworn off Marvel.. oh well I really dig the costume and the thought of Carol taking over the role of the new Captain Marvel... hopefully it sticks and brings the Marvel cosmic back to its own.

i don't get why she had to change costumes in the first place just because she got a new name..

The hair looks much better but the rest, not so much :(

What a waste in the title of Captain Marvel, she's Ms. Marvel and always will be ! They should have just let the real Mar-vell return and given Ms. Marvel her own book. I gurantee it won't last a year!

As long as she doesn't have that mullet hair, I'm in full support of this costume transition.

Why are so many complaining about the costume or the hair all the time?

I think it's just people complaining to complain. But i can name 3 things great about this cover.

This cover looks awesome. Better than the mullet we see in the other one I must say.

Marvel really should decide if they want to roll with the mullet hair or not. Other than that I kinda dig the costume.

I still think this is a stupid idea and won't last.

With Adi Granov's artwork her costume doesn't look that lame.
