As the Terrigen Mists roll across the Earth, birthing new Inhumans and poisoning the planet’s Mutants, time has run out! Oh look, more heroes fighting each other. The marvel talent pool is really exhausted when hero fighting hero is the only plot they can come up with for any sort of event.

Hopefully this is the end of this conflict and I can go back to ignoring that the X-Men exist, and X-Fans can go back to ignoring the Inhumans and fans of both can stop having this shitty plot ruin both their books.

Yeah there is? None of the series were cancelled, it was a false assumption because they don't fall under the "NOW" banner (likely because they will get relaunched following this event). They're all still in the October solicits, many starting new arcs.

And I'm sure the X-Men will be hamfistedly made the villains of the event just like in AvX. And just like AvX, no matter how much Marvel tries to force the narrative the readers won't believe a word of it.

The Inhumans are calling in Quake? I thought she was mutant? Or did they alter her origin to fit the MCU?

Sometimes I just wish the mutants existed in their own universe seperate from the rest of Marvel. At least then they won't be constantly forced to fight other teams and be made to look bad.

So, the terrigen mist is going to saturate the planet, which will wipeout the mutant species(genocide) and wreak havoc on the planet. The X-Men want to stop it, and the Inhumans won't allow that because the advancement of their species is more important to them than the lives of innocents...

Wat? How are the Inhumans not considered villains? Why aren't the Avengers going after them as well?

Exactly what I've been thinking. I mean, there's so much you can do with X-men that they could live in their own universe and still have great stories.

Will boycotting the event make marvel rethink its supposed course?

So far im concern, INHUMAN SCUM ARE VILLAINS! Which mean that Inhumans vs X-men is after long time first big event in which heroes, X-men, fighting villains, Inhuman scum.

This is the ultimate symbolism of Disney just beating down the Xmen.

Also, are there any villains remaining? Are "heroes" just bored now?

Damn you Marvel. My beloved mutants will be villain again and in the end you'll erase them. Mutants are being murder by Cloud that is Black Bolt fault and noone seems to care.

I appreciate that Marvel are getting top talent on this and Death of X, but I just can't bring myself to care about any of it.

Plus, if they are the only people with superpowers in the world, it could get rid of the question of why do people hate mutants but not the Fantastic Four or Avengers?

@igilistr: This would all be a problem if it were not for two things 1.( buisness and such between Fox and Disney-Marvel) 2. within the world of Marvel Comics, everyone and their mom hate Mutants. Not all Inhumans hate or show extreme levels of apathy towards the mutant's situation. It's just the important Inhumans who don't care lel. Certain incarnations of Magneto would do the same thing if he got the chance.

This is a fantastic idea, if not this at least another planet in a different galaxy or something. Wouldn't it be really weird without X-Men getting hate all the time though?

Oh, Marvel. When will you start listening that this plotline is ridiculous and is only ruining your other books. Shoving the Inhumans in every single one of your new books is off putting. Not because they are bad characters but because they are written poorly and are used as plot devices.

I will never understand the unnecessary and extreme amount of hatred that the mutants receive within the marvel-verse.

@igilistr: Don't they care though isn't Beast living on New Attilan working with the Inhumans to find a cure for the T-Pox? Just because every Inhuman book doesn't directly tackle the problem doesn't mean that the characters don't care about it.

@mangakid1995: That's not the issue. Medusa has said that she will not allow the terrigen clouds to be destroyed or dispersed, even though they're killing mutants and causing chaos. The Inhumans see genocide as an acceptable cost for the preservation of their species.

Outside of fan bias, how can anyone root for the Inhumans when they're this morally bankrupt and unsympathetic?

As someone who actually likes some of the Inhumans AND some of the X-Men, this sounds like a nightmare of story so I'll pass. Is Ms. Marvel an inhuman? And why is The Human Torch siding with the inhumans.

Do Marvel heroes even fight villains anymore? Just seems like they fight each other all the time. At least in the events.

@theexile285: Yes, Ms. Marvel is an Inhuman. That's Inferno, not The Human Torch, though I don't blame you for mistaking them. Based on the solicits, the Inhumans are functioning as villains.

But yeah, you're right. This event will likely be a train wreck for both parties.

People complain but they'll still buy it.

It seems like Marvel is just giving the villains a break.

Black Bolt > The entire X-franchise combined. Yet the guy can't just get his own book. And since the Inhumans movie got pushed back, can we get Black Bolt back in a costume that's not as horrible to look at?
