Art looks fantastic.

You clearly know nothing about the character. He's blind and reading braille on the cards because his powers manifest through reading. He has several cards for specific powers. He's not using them as weapons. He is NOTHING like Gambit at all.

If the Inhumans need to appropriate other characters to sell, then so be it; however, let's not kid ourselves.

Also, Gambit was blinded in the early 2000s, he used tarot cards that gave him various abilities -- sound familiar?

That's Steve McNiven's art?!? I wouldn't have believed it if you hadn't told me... Didn't recognize it. It looks rushed...

Reader's more a rip off of Timmy from Lassie since he sometimes uses a dog.

LOL clearly you are someone who will never admit you are wrong. None of their core elements are remotely the same. Their powers are completely different, they don't actually look the same he has no long hair or trench coat and they don't have remotely similar personalities. Only similarity is the pink. Also its not a bow staff, it's a walking stick, you know the type blind people have...

@skyroid: no. Just the ones that make sens. The Inhuman had the Uncanny to title first. Uncanny Avengers has the name because it has Avengers and Inhumans on the team and fights for the same ideals that the X-Men had. Magneto's team has the name because they're reminiscent of X-Force which has been using the title for a while now.

I wouldn't be suprised if they're trying to transition it back to the Inhumans permanently.

In all fairness...1975. The first X-Men I could find with "Uncanny" on the cover was The X-Men #114 - Desolation from 1978.

@wowlock: Johnny is the man whore fill in love interest of the Marvel universe I doubt there relationship makes it out of the first year of this series. As soon as Black Bolt gets his son back from Kang, Medusa will start to have feelings for him again.

This books art is great and Soule is a good writer but the current story and direction are working against this title before it comes out and fans have been very vocal over there hate of Johnny and Medusa.

I kinda hope Blackbolt can talk post secret wars. They already killed the silent thing by having him talking in so many different important moments with various loop wholes here and there really is no reason to keep him mute.

Why does everybody have so much Ultimates style detail but Medusa is still in basic spandex?

I think Soule did a great job on Inhuman so I'm looking forward to this! I just wish that McNiven could stop drawing those wrinkles (or whatever they're supposed to be) on Blackagar's face. :P

Other than that, I'm digging the new duds, especially Triton's. And it's gonna be sweet to see Reader again, he was definitely one of the newly created inhumans who stood out the most (and who didn't get killed :P ).

@sprior93: dude every single inhuman article you are posting this nonsense. Reader has been around for like a year now and yet you are acting as if this new information. The characters aren't the same, they don't act the same, the don't talk the same, and they don't have the same powers. If your only argument is the look similar and they the color of their powers are similar then your not gonna convince people he's a rip off.

I can't wait for Uncanny Inhumans and the other inhumans titles like Ms.Marvel Karnak, All New inhumans, and Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur!!!! Charles Soule has set so many things into motion and gave me a different view of the inhumans universe I'm so excited can't wait

@fables87: Since the T-mist is going around and killing mutants Beast went to the inhumans to try and see a way to reverse the effects at least thats my guess

Beast and Human Torch are not Inhumans.

@sprior93: Similar colored powers aside, the two of them are nothing alike, never mind the fact that the aforementioned color scheme and his staff are the only two similarities. Citing those two things is akin to saying that Invincible is just like Superman because of their "Flying Brick" power sets.

Besides, it's not like he's a new character. He's been around for a little while now, and he's actually got some pretty cool abilities.

I'm actually looking forward to this series. When I read it, I'll just close my eyes and pretend Beast and Johnny Storm aren't there.

@51stpresidentofplanetneutral: No, they're very similar. That entire arc with Iso read exactly like Gambit and Storm in the latter issues of Claremont's Uncanny.

I haven't been following the Inhumans but the addition of Johnny Storm and Beast intrigues me! Gonna add this to the monster list of books I'll be picking up...can anyone give me a synopsis of whats been going on with the Inhumans. I know about the Terrigen clouds and the nuhumans...don't know why Black Bolt and Medusa aren't together...

@phocracker: one throws said cards after charging them with kinetic energy and the other use them to see, teleport, time travel and many other things that haven't been shown yet. The comparison Sprior is making is completely superficial.
