Still bummed this series was canceled...

Wait the Protoss made Voodoo?

Feels sort of weird to give a #0 issue to a title they're canceling.

finally, dc has a decent looking alien race with the demonites. hate to say it, but they were way behind marvel with their kree, skrulls and sh'ire. they do have the thanagar and man hunters which are formidable but i still felt they were lacking. looks good dc. keep it up.

Marz's departure killed this book. Really want to know where he could have taken this series.

This book was good up until they revealed there were two Voodoos...then it went bad. If only #0 in this instance meant they'd erase all that and go a different direction. But whatever...she'll show up in Grifter and hopefully this whole to Voodoos stuff will be conveniently forgotten and never mentioned again.

That said, I'm still curious about reading this. Maybe not to pick up but just read it through.

@LifePool: by the way, wouldnt these daemonites be a good arch villian for supergirl now that voodoo is cancelled.it make sense on so many levels.

Shame shame. Too bad the book was cancelled. It had it's downsides, but it had upsides as well.

@jsphsmth: Marz was the reason I bought the book, I thought after he left Witchblade that I will try Voodoo. I only got a couple of the issues by that other guy.

Grifter should be on his way out shortly as well. That book is HORRIBLE and I really, really, REALLY dislike how they re-designed the daemonites for both series. With Jim Lee working at DC I'm not sure if he just said "sure take my artistic creation throw it in a creative juicer with a ton of multiviatamins and laxatives and then produce a creative enema of what you feel my image of an alien race should look like in your universe as opposed to."

Damn! This was the only New 52 book my wife liked. Now she's gonna wanna talk to me instead!

The way this book was derailed around issue 4 is just a shame. The start of it was absolutely fantastic. And now that the book is kind of getting its narrative footing back, it's being canceled. Oh well.

I hope Basri gets put on something else, his art is good.

@lifeboy: No, Deadpool is one of my favorite characters. And I don't know anything of Voodoo and very little of Supergirl so I wouldn't be able to comment on that. I've only read the Daemonites in Grifter.

I hope they decide to combine Voodoo and Grifter and maybe bring back some of the original Deamonites into a new title. Wildcats anyone?

I really enjoyed Voodoo. I am sorry to see it go.
