You're gonna incite the wrath of the Punisher... just to steal his T-shirt? Just get a black T-shirt and some fabric paint. That's what I did for Halloween last year.

Her legs look too long on the cover. But great preview, Frank'll be pretty pissed off with his shirt getting stolen like that.

It really puts me off when a comic has too many artists. Too many cooks.

This series is starting to get really crowded. I don't think it really needs more characters

@nickxh: That's how you do a weekly book. Injustice, Baternal, etc all do it.

I think it's the arms - her fingertips practically touch her knees!

@g_man: I find it very jarring. Much like when you get two artists working on the same issue. Especially when their styles are completely different from each other.

Why is Mystique even involved in this? Other than being shoe-horned in because of the Movies. It would be better to have Silver Fox. Or a Stepford sister. Would even make more sense to have Lady-Deadpool.

O & the cover, thought she was Photon.

@cobramorph: No, Mystique is not involve because of the movies. She's had a relationship history with Wolverine and she was also working undercover for the Weapon X program that Wolverine was in. So, since she has a lot of history and connections to Wolverine, she had to be involved. Her history with Wolverine is even in her character profile. It's the first paragraph of the character evolution section. http://www.comicvine.com/mystique/4005-1469/

I thought this was a new Silver Fox but looks like this might be Lady Fantomex from Uncanny X-Force. Interesting.

I guess maybe Fantomex is dying off in X-force and this will be his gender-bent diversity checkmark replacement. The fox being an Eva replacement. Looks decent enough...I thought it was going to end up actually being Cluster. Considering they have a female version already out there it seems they did not want to use the one which was somewhat established...maybe this way they get the race and gender in one swoop again. I give Marvel credit, they are trying super hard.

I am really liking this book. Some of the characters in this do not make since for his book such as Mystique. If I'm correct the relationship between Wolverine and Mystique is a new plot point. I have been reading Wolverine comics and X-men since elementary school and do not recall that ever being the case.

@nnelg: Well Mystique and Wolverine's relationship isn't much of a new plot because I saw an adaptation of it in the Wolverine and The X-Men animated series which came out in 2009 and that's how I found out it was in the comics as well. So, I guess it was introduced or recon somewhere before 2009. I just never read the comic so I don't know exactly when it was put into his history.

No it was not introduced in the comics. It was introduced in the cartoon then retconed in the comic. I also don't think the retcon is a problem.

I assumed her long arms was going to be a character trait... They seem long in every image. The X-23 cover looks pretty cool though.

cartoon was in 2009, Wolverine and Mystique have been a thing for 10+ years, House of M was 2005 and they were alluding to Wolverine wanting to be with Mystique and there were even stories with them before that having love/hate feelings towards each other. Same withe her and Creed.

That is a gorgeous variant cover of X-23. I didn't expect to get a Punishment cameo in this series, at all. For a couple of panels there, I thought it was actually Logan.
