One question: Will we get to see the Punisher take out all those bad guys in that bar? Or was that just a loose thread that Hickman set up that won't be referenced?

@bluejay2324: Hickman will not reference again to the scene, I suppose, since in Secret Wars world is ended and so Frank and all the Bad Guy.

However Edmonson may still take that scene for the Last Days of Punisher and give us the fight...

@bluejay2324: They did reference it. When we see Frank standing in front of the bar burning. There is an invisible hand hanging out of the flame.

Frank explained that killing all those Villains completed his bucket list.

Plus, I'm thinking this version of Frank doesn't make it to battleworld.

Didn't the Punisher series end like a month ago? This is a part 1? I'm so confused. I thought it was all Secret Wars all the time?

@lmothander: Nah, there are still 2 more issues that are part of the "Last Days" Secret Wars tie-ins.

Looking forward to this. This has been a solid 616 Punisher series.

Awesome so this takes place right after that epic scene in Secret Wars 1.
i feel bad for the people who havn't been picking up this Punisher series its one for the more memorable runs for the chracter.

I would say top 3 runs ever for Punisher along with Rucka and Ennis.

What a great book

Is he going to get his ass owed once again, since he can't do anything on his own anymore (one man army my as!) while wearing a dumb pointless mask????? This series has sucked since issue 1, this run has shown one of those most weakest and incompetent versions of the character that I've seen. It's for the easily amused non-Punisher fans.

Eh, they need to stop with Call of Duty/American Sniper Punisher, it's lame af. Also, there was way too much of that corny monologuing.
