Kamala has really become the new Wolverine where she shows up in like 20 books a month. Also this grounded story line for the Guardians is silly and with a relaunch of there series already announced with them in space I guess even Marvel had no faith in it.

@br_havoc: I think they are just trying to increase the guardians ties to the earth based hero community before shipping them back off to space. It's a decent idea for a short arc just to write character interactions that are rare or never before seen. Not something that would work long term since the word Galaxy is in the title but I'd like to think they know that the guardians belong in space rather than the story looked to be going in a bad direction and they scrapped it.

Well they have been continuously doing that ever since the Guardians relaunched, by adding earth heroes like Iron Man and the Thing ect and having them interact with the X-Men.

Grounded was always meant to be Bendis's swansong. I think the team is supposed to reunite in his final issue - but just the core five that'll be in the new volume.

The first issue was funny and cool I enjoyed it. This may be good so i'll pick this up.

I really disliked how Bendis made this series a joke.

I wish they'd take more risks. The recent Vision series, for example, was new and pretty refreshing.

i have a strange deja vu feeling like the las t issues of the previous volume of guardians didnt follow a single storyline and they relauched cause of secret wars and now the issues also dont have an integral storyline and are just a bunch of stories.

Remember when Peter Quil was a real character?

Star-Lord hasn't been that athletic in a long time. He looks great too. I just wish he could get his old helmet back now.

How did he go from stubble to full on beard in the span of a single issue? Did that much time already pass?
