That art work is making me hesitate on picking up this book. I really hope that this book does well though,

I'd like to see a showdown between Jen and Matt Murdoch

I gotta develop some sort of stockholm syndrome relationship with Pulido's style, because I really want to keep reading this and I have a really hard time with his E.T faces and rushed inks.

Although to be fair, inks look better in this than in #1 and the Hawkeye annual.

I think this book is growing on me.

This looks interesting, but that art...

How is it that a book with wonderful covers have such irritating interior art? I just can't get used to it.

That variant cover is hilarious. Looks like she's giving a very bored striptease.

While the art is better than She-Hulk #1 and definitely better than the Hawkeye Annual #1....I still want another artist on this title. Hell, that variant cover makes me want Amanda Connor to work on this; her work on Power Girl and Harley Quinn is amazing, and this solo on-going has the same vibe as those two.

That's spot on; it's irritating. I don't mind stylised or minimalist, but something about Pulido's stuff just reads as nonchalant to me. The Hawkeye Annual was probably more than 50% silhouettes (which are creeping in above, too), and it just came across like an artist wanting to avoid drawing stuff.

I like the art too, although I think he needs to practice a bit on faces that are looking straight forward. When they're looking at the viewer, they really do have ET faces like @simonm7 mentioned.

I cannot draw so I'm not one to criticize art, but ew.

After being critical of the issue 1 preview the actual issue won me over. The writing is great and the few small problems I had with the preview were pretty much the only ones to be found throughout. So I will be buying and supporting this book. :)

Also, those Kevin Wada and Amanda Conner covers are fantastic.

Seriously how She-Hulk still has an secret identity blows my mind.

You would have to be a fool to not know who she is and that's shes a freak.

Even if the writing is everything I'd want it to be, the art alone is making me steer clear of this.

What the HELL is up with Jennifer's new costume. It looks like the designer's weren't even TRYING! Her old gear looked a billion times better than this! Come on Marvel get it together!

I find myself in the same position I was in during KSD's Captain Marvel run when Filipe Andrade took over on art; I really want to like the book but the art makes it such a chore to read. I'll continue to support it cause it's Soule and She-Hulk is cool but, ugh it's frustrating.

She doesn't really have a secret identity. She's publicly a superhero.

I like her new costume.

Really not into the interior art. The first issue was fun, the art just bugs the crap out of me.

Said it with issue # 1 and will say it again here: THE ART IS AMAZING! All of it. And I wouldn't want anyone else to draw this other than Javier Pulido.

Issue #1 was pretty good, this might be the Marvel female led title that I have been waiting for.

What is wrong with Pulidos faces? Are they some kind of homage to E.T.? I guess this is the trend though. These kind of books get funky goofy looking art cuz it 'fits the style'. Wouldn't mind reading a She-Hulk book too, such a shame

I love the writing in this book so far but that art needs to change. Same goes for A-N X-Factor too actually. Great writing not so wonderful art.

I'm almost positive She-Hulk was Pro-Registration in Civil War. She prefers to remain in her Hulked out form but practices Law under her real name, Jennifer Walters. It is public knowledge that she is She-Hulk. Also I dunno if its a good idea to call her a freak lol.

Love both covers. The inside art is still... Well, let's say, Javier Pulido has a problem with his heroine's face.

I really liked her new outfit. Seeing her upper thigh is kind of making me sad. I thought Marvel was finally at the point where they didn't make their girls were panties instead of pants, and leaving that outdated concept to DC. She had shorts in everything else All New before this cover.

I've always been intrigued by the character, but that art is nails on the chalkboard.

@teerack: I would agree for any other character, but She Hulk shouldn't wear shorts, it makes more sense to have her in revealing clothes, she's an extrovert that doesn't care about being PC, she's the 'feminine' Hyde to Jennifer Walters shy introverted tomboy... Jen is the pants one... That is to say She hulk should have a diverse wardrobe that doesn't matter if its revealing or sensible, she shouldn't care about the way she looks, where Jens should be conservative and want to look prim and proper.

Im a massive reader of She hulk and its always been better when she's been portrayed as ... vampish... A confident woman who gets what she wants...

I guess I'm just a bigger fan of John Byrne and Dan Slotts works, rather then Peter David who killed it for me, I didn't get the whole of his run as it departed so massively from Dan Slotts run.

The book is really good though guys (sure, that's just based on the first issue, but still!). I like the art, but I can see how divisive it can be--especially compared to someone like Samnee, Shaner, or Allred who are also doing more with less.

Looks promising. Dig the art.

Art=not good. Faces, and in particular, eyes, are a bit disturbing.

Hey, I love this. And I can get over the art being a little funky. Love Jennifer and love the new focus on her law career.

@hillbillymorangie: The shorts she had before were mid thigh... Jen is older then 35.. she shouldn't be running around in panties. Red She-Hulk wears full pants and compared to the other big time marvel super women(Widow, Captain Marvel, Spider-Woman, Invisible Woman, all of the X-Men, etc.) She Hulk's costume would still be considered revealing with short shorts. There is a difference from wearing revealing clothes and not caring because that who you are, and not wearing any clothes because male readers want to see her ass...

Not to get all uppity about it's just that Marvel doesn't dress any of their women like sluts anymore, so I was hoping it would lead DC to make some effort to dress their characters also, so the stupid comic book sexism argument could die out.

I liked issue one sort of, but the art, the art has me like....

Uggh the art and I thought jen was done being hulked out all the time.

As horrible as this sounds I think I'm gonna trade wait on this. I'm picking up a few statues which are seriously hurting my budget but they're great statues. I'll be missing the covers by Wada and the story. Pulido's art is still a bit iffy to me.

Also THOSE EYES!!! in almost every frame they are going 2 separate ways!

I want to pick this up but I can't stand the art. It's not exactly terrible, it's just not my flavor.
