Marvel fans' bottled tears for sale. Twenty percent off for veterans.
Exclusive Preview: HULK #2
@slimebeherit: It's just stupid, and they did the same with Iron Heart.
Well how can I argue with such a compelling argument. I truly have been checkmated.
You dont think its stupid? Iron Man and Hulk are not mentals, they are Tony Stark and Bruce Banner, end of the story.
There are not enough expletives in existence to describe how badly Marvel Comics suck. Kid and female versions of popular characters, major event/cross-over, killing iconic characters, ideas that have not only proven to be myopic, and unoriginal, but are just plain stupid and have proven time and time again not to work. These hackneyed crutches only insult and alienate fans. I have'nt bought a new Marvel comic book in over a decade. And I don't see myself doing so in the forseeable future. If any one remembers Crisis on Infinite Earths and Zero Hour, these were DC's attempt straightened out the clusterfuck of stupidity that their comic universe had become, and now Marvel is full tilt into that same chasm that almost sunk DC. They have got to be the biggest collection unimaginative hacks this side of the clueless brain turds at EA games. First video games, then Hip Hop, and now comic books. All the art forms I once loved are now dead. Thanks Marvel. I hope there's a special kind of hell for the likes of you. Could someone copy/paste this and send it to Marvel for me. I'd appreciate it. They're not worth the effort for me to write this again.
Nah, all three of those are pretty much pushing the records to new heigths. You just aren't looking in the right places.

I don't see what's so stupid about it, this sorta of thing has been happening for decades. They have replaced Superman, Batman, Spider-Man, Green Lantern, Flash, Ant-Man, Ghost Rider, Captain Marvel, Captain America, Spider-Woman, Daredevil, Power Man, and Iron Man. Sometimes these characters keep the name and other times it's temporary, but this sort of thing is pretty common place.
It's also weird that you took offense to these books, cause Riri and Jen aren't calling themselves Iron Man and Hulk. In universe Riri is Iron Heart and Jennifer Walters is just being called Jennifer Walter, these just happen to be the names of the series for marketing purposes and because they still sort of relate. Iron Man still has Tony Stark as prominent character, and Hulk has Jen holding back from raging for the killing of her cousin Bruce Banner.
@jonjac1002: Why is Marvel crap it has out sold DC in comic sales many times.
didn't she die? When did she get revived?
She didn't die in Civil War II, she was put into a coma by a rogue missile shot by War Machine. The no prize answer to how a missile could do that to She-Hulk, is that it must have an ATM (Anti-Thanos Missile).

Giving other characters famous mentals sucks.

Bingo, and that's bait. You know, even if Jennifer is on the cover, people can still get confused, for example.
Do you mean mantle? I ignored it in the previous post cause I thought it was a typo. As for them sucking? "Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man."

Jennifer is a Hulk, so they are getting a Hulk book. If they want a specific Hulk then maybe they should do a bit of research and by research, I mean open the book up and read the synopsis page. It's not rocket science.
So your example is comic called Amazing Spider-Man #15 with Mary Jane in the Iron Spider Suit on the cover? The issue that featured Amazing Spider-Man and Mary Jane in the Iron Spider suit, how misleading.
@slimebeherit: "Do you mean mantle?" Yeah it was just a pun. *wink*
Why is the series named Hulk and not She Hulk? To bait the fans?
Because STRONK WOMYN
@seedsentry: Pretty much.
@cagnazzo82: It's benevolent sexism. All over it.
"Jen is fighting the anger inside her.". So are many Marvel fans...
"Fans".
@supergoku17: Marvel's artificially inflating its sales.
I re-read issue #1, this is pretty interesting.

"Kid and female versions of popular characters, major event/cross-over, killing iconic characters", yes, but you forgot to mention replacing them all with so-called progressive, politically-correct versions (non-white and preferably with afro-heritage) in the name of neoliberal 'diversity'; as well as pairing the female versions with a 'diverse' romantic interest (non-white and preferably with afro-heritage especially if she is blonde) in the name of the interracial porn the Marvel regressives are apparently addicted to. Comics were always meant as entertainment, not a platform for college based socio-political BS. That's another reason for plummeting sales. Adding that, still agree everything you said was true.
Hol up... I thought Jen was in control of her rage. That's what made her different from Bruce. What happened? All I know is that she in mourning over Bruce's death.
In short: She's suffering from PTSD after Thanos blew her into a coma and she wakes up to the new that Bruce is dead along with Warmachine.
I wonder what message Marvel is actually sending about female empowerment when their attempts to make strong female characters basically amounts to turning them into their male counterparts.
It's the marketing department thats rearing it's ugly head I fear, because they know if they call it something else like She-Hulk, you already kneecap that book because there are a bunch of people who wont buy stuff with 'she' in the title if there is another Hulk book.
The exception I think is Captain Marvel.

No, the no prize answer is that it was just more nonsense writing by Bendis, which other writers had to retcon... again...
@atheistknowledge: Oh right, I forgot that happens in A-Force, I guess that's a better answer. Thanks for the reminder.
Comic Vine Community is really the best at being open and non judgmental. Really good crowd over here.

Not a good example with that cover as it clearly states that it is a Variant Edition. Seems unlikely someone will blindly buy a comic with a variant cover since 1. some variants cost extra (and this is J. Scott Campbell so it most likely does) and 2. It states it's a variant.
@moogman13: Ok. This is the main cover.
Issue 2 and still ... no Hulk. Massively disappointing!
Enough with these great looking teaser images that have nothing to do with the actual content of the books. So damn tired of this garbage.
(sorry, i had to vent. I'm sure others share my feelings. Hulk is so far simply awful.)
@shead65: Oh it's awful because she doesn't Hulk out 24/7? Neither does Banner you dipshit. He couldn't help transforming. She's fighting it off constantly. The teaser images have everything to do with the book you idiot. If you actually read it you would know.
@iconrocket123: Thanks for the feedback and for being a real nice guy to a first time poster to the forum.
I have no problem with her taking up the title Hulk since besides Banner no one else deserves the title more than Jen.
"Jen is fighting the anger inside her.". So are many Marvel fans...
Well said...
