I love the art work in here. I haven't picked up issue one yet, but after reading this preview I'll have to get it. Hoping to see a Daredevil/Elektra crossover soon!

This looks like a good series, but it also seems really similar to the new Black Widow series.

I said the exact same thing after finishing the first issue.

@jonny_anonymous: I think there talking about the fact that its another comic with an assassin type character going around doing missions, with awesome art.

"Sabretooth licks Mystique's boots."

Soldiering past the fact that that could very well be a literal statement (they're both freaks), the writer's pool at Marvel really needs to decide which of them is in charge of their criminal empire. Bendis seems to show Mystique as the leader, while Cornell portrays Sabretooth as the dominant one.

@sparty_dbq: Consistency would be good, but if you're looking to pick sides I'd go with the way Bendis is doing it.

I don't think I've ever been quite so quickly sold on a book (except for Moon Knight). A few folks said this is a lot like Black Widow but I really didn't click with the first issue of that. This book, though, I immediately added to my pull. I wouldn't want to try to pick between Noto and Del Mundo, but I feel safe saying I think Blackman is the stronger writer.

@sparty_dbq: I think Sabertooth is just more prominent because he's central to the story he's telling.

The series had a strong start and if the quality continues to be this good along with this great artwork, this will be a contender for the best Marvel book on the shelves.

...I picked up the first issue. The art is amazing, the dialogue is ok, the story makes sense for the character, but it's not for me. At least not worth putting another comic on my pull.

(can't breathe can't breathe can't breathe)

It's like my birthday and Christmas and Easter and Halloween and every long weekend in the summer has come together to give me this book. I will feast on every panel and every word to the end.
