Gunslinger girl?

Why does widow look more and more like Scarjo?

That's just what it reminds me of at first glance, I've only seen the first Gunslinger girl series.

@mark_stephen: I've seen both series and read the manga completely. Basically the next season was the worst part of the entire series and it's production value was nearly just a tenth of the first season so it looked much cheaper with a worse soundtrack. After that arc the manga got insanely good... though it ends very very dark for most of the characters...

I can't imagine it would end any other way.
