Exclusive Cover Reveal: TEEN TITANS #5 by Kenneth Rocafort

Monthly solicits can be a tricky thing. You have to tip toe around to try not to reveal too much. With TEEN TITANS #5, the original solicit listed Kenneth Rocafort as the cover artist but clearly the image was by Kevin Wada. I'm assuming this was done so the "new member" wouldn't be revealed right away. This new member has been confirmed in the solicit for #6 but the actual cover to TEEN TITANS #5 still hasn't been seen--until now.

Good thing Wonder Girl contorted her butt toward the audience, otherwise I wouldn't be able to take her seriously.

Ken Rocafort is otherwise a pretty great artist but I just really don't like how he draws females.

I've already said what I wanted to, put in Emiko or Wally, a well established character, and then wait for someone like her. This book still needs to build itself up, and can't support a new character. Down the line, sure introduce her, but for now this book needs a little legacy to give it a push.

When power girl and huntress went back to earth 2. There was an accident, where Karen's powers were infused into Tanya. Karen ended up leaving her the name Power Girl. So it seemed like she knew something would happen too her.

@captain13: To be fair, a lot of people hated Damian Wayne when he first came along. Some people aren't fond of the new Power Girl, but Damian eventually grew to have his own fanbase. Most legacy characters do. I honestly don't see that big a deal with having Power Girl on the team.

Besides, characters like the ones mentioned can always show up later, but I think coming on early kind of gives you a leg up on potentially not getting erased from existence. Personally, anyway.
