Because YOU demanded it – now starring in their very own ongoing series! Starting this July, Wade Wilson and his lovable band of guns-for-hire are continuing their adventures in an all-new DEADPOOL AND THE MERCS FOR MONEY #1! Returning writer Cullen Bunn joins incoming artist Iban Coello for all all-out brawl-out as Deadpool, Solo, Slapstick, Foolkiller, Stingray, Terror and Masacre (and even a few surprise members!) hit Marvel Universe in search of cold hard cash!

Deadpool and six characters that can not main a solo book or have had a solo book. I am looking at you Stingray, one of the worst Avengers ever...

I actually thought this was already an ongoing.

Well Solo and Foolkiller had minis I believe but yeah that's kind of the point of the team. They're obscure (a fact the book has pointed out) and they shouldn't really work together but they do.

I just wish they'd drop Slapstick. He may have some good one on one potential with Deadpool... but it'll never happen in a team book.

"Demanded." I actually thought this was already an ongoing, and I can honestly say that I was a bit indifferent towards this whole idea. Slapstick and Solo and the green guy are interesting characters on their own, but I don't really look forward to new issues of this series as much as I do, say, Spider-Man, Hercules, Spider-Gwen, Starbrand and Nightmask, or The Visions. But I'm guessing that "fan demand", in this case, is the same thing as the "fan demand" for Gwen-Poole.

Pretty cool, I guess. Maybe I should give the mini-series a read at some point.

Ah you are correct. Terror had a couple as well. So yeah the only ones who didn't have one were Stingray and Masacre (though he was only recently created).

I stopped reading deadpool because of these unattractive/boring characters. Hopefully this means they won't be in the main series.

Like others i was already under the impression, this was a on going series.
