During World War II, Steve Rogers volunteered to receive the experimental Super-Soldier Serum. Enhanced to the pinnacle of human physical potential and armed with an unbreakable shield, he became Captain America. After a failed mission left him encased in ice for decades, he was found and revived by the Avengers, later joining their ranks and eventually becoming the team's leader.
With Steve coming back as Captain America, why isn't he getting his shield back. Sure the new shield looks cool, but that Shield rightfully belongs to Steve.

What do you think?
I agree, but i think they are doing this to show that "he has changed" it's like for every milestone he completes, he gets a new shield or something
Honestly, I think he will get the shield back sooner or later, after CW2 at the latest (IMO). Marvel just wants Sam to hold on to it for a bit, so it still gives Sam's Cap some legitimacy.
