Can't Edit Issue Pages

Whenever I try to edit an issue page it comes up with "Whoops, looks like we ran into an error" regardless of whether I'm changing appearances or text. I've checked on other types of pages and I can still edit those.

I'm using Chrome on Windows.

EDIT: It just worked for one issue but when I moved on to another, same results. It may have something to do with the fact that the edit I made that worked was a large one whereas the one that didn't was just the removal of one credit and addition of another.

if you are editing issues it is the roles that are messing it up, all other edits on an issue page will go through, you can add the creators but you can't add roles currently.

I just tried to hit save on an issue with adding nothing but a new cover, and with adding a concept both gives the error oops something has gone wrong. I can however edit a volume. Currently using Chrome/Firefox on Windows XP.

@wmwadeii: it's cause the issue had roles added no doubt, something is wrong with the roles field, adding roles to a new issue does not work and editing an issue with existing roles won't work.

@pikahyper: I just tried editing the plot summaries and the same message pops up for every issue I try to edit.

@xxxddd: did the issues you tried to edit already have creators with assigned roles? like I said up above something is wrong with roles so if they already exist in an issue it can't save.

@pikahyper: How do you check for assigned roles?

@xxxddd: artist, writer, inker, editor, etc. if any creators have a role assigned it won't save. Until this is fixed no existing issues (with roles) should be edited as it could lead to data loss if somehow the submission gets through.

if the issues you tried to edit didn't have creators with roles assigned post a few issue links here and I'll check them out when I wake up in a few hours.

@xxxddd: leave them be until the problem is fixed.

So just making sure i understand if the issue has any roles (ie writer/ creator ect) you can not edit the page... Or is it just certain "roles".

Sorry about this, one of our developers commited some code and didnt test it all! I am yelling at him right now and we will have this fixed shortly.

@amishavenger: any roles, hopefully this will be a moot point soon
