Zuko (AtLA) vs Cheshire (YJ)

When Zuko takes on Cheshire, who will win?

Zuko is from Avatar. Cheshire is from Young Justice

For this fight, Zuko has his dual dao swords. He does not have his bending.

Cheshire has her katana and sai. No other gear

Fight takes place in a forest. Time is twilight. Starting distance is 30 feet

All are in character (no censors to prevent actual use of the swords). Victory by ko or death

Who wins?

I don't know how good Cheshire is, but I do know Zuko is an expert with his swords... as demonstrated when he rescued Aang as the Blue Spirit from the Fire Nation camp/fortress.

Could go either way, hard to decide. Slightly siding with Cheshire due to impressive speed.

@arcus1: If Cheshire decides to throw her sai at Zuko, I don't think Zuko would be able to defend it properly.

Chesire. As far as swordsmanship go she IMO did more impressive things or at least on a consistent level because is all she could do.

Good fight...edge to Chesire since i feel shes a tier above him in offense.

Thing is though, all Cheshrire has to go up against is people who aren't used to people with swords, Zuko however is from a world where it's the dominant sidearm if you aren't a bender.

@outside_85: Tru but She does it against more impressive threats, Artemis, Aqualad, and Roy Harper are all superior threats than any non bender in the Avatarverse ( Save for Ty Lee IMO).

His feats aren't as impressive when you think about the fact that she always has stats, ranged, sometimes team against her. I also think its safe to assume the likes of Aqualad and artemis are worthy in there own right with swords.( They're Aqualads go-to constructs, Artemis showed she was a master swordsman in her time as tigress)

Good fight. Zuko isnt that inferior of a swordsman, if at all.... And his physicals are a great advantage. Should have gave them bending and full gear.

Why not? He could easily deflect arrows

I considered doing that, but I wasn't sure if Cheshire had the ranged gear to make it a good fight against Zuko

@arcus1: Hmmmm.... I suppose you're right. I think this is a stalemate, Cheshire has good offense, while Zuko has good defense with his big katanas.

Going with Cheshire. I just find her slightly more impressive. She has a speed advantage IMO and Zuko may be a bit stronger, but it's not like that's been a problem for her before.

Unlike Zuko however, you are talking about duels, basically, Zuko took on most of a fortress garrison.

@arcus1: I'll wait for some feats of Chesire before I reply. I do rank Zuko very high in swordsmanship due to incredible skill and insane reflexes, above average agility too. I'll also see what I can find on my own.

Cheshire was more skilled from what I remember of her fights and seemed to move faster in combat as well. Holding her own against superhumans like Aqualad probably helps her chances too.

I could probably agree with Cheshire having a speed edge while Zuko has a strength edge

She takes it pretty easily, IMO stomping the likes of Aquadlad, Speedy, etc. without powers is impressive.

Chesire.

She beat Aqualad via ambush and poison that she doesn't have here. As for Red Arrow, he's been able to fight pretty evenly with her most times, though she's generally had at least an edge

@arcus1: I thought I'd give some reasoning anyways, at least from what I've seen.

Chesire has a significant agility advantage, and potentially a speed one. They seem pretty even in reaction speed even if I rank Zuko slightly higher, however I think Zuko has better swordsmanship feats and he is a great martial artist.

I also think that his superhuman physicals (durability, and most significally, strength) can win him some. So yeah, I'd say it's 50/50 with even skill and edge in agility/strength.

I think Cheshire can win this. She is definitely above Zuko in h2h skill wise. She has close range and long range capabilities with her weapons which makes her more versatile. That and her natural assassin background gives her a kill-on-sight mentality.

Her only weapons here are her sai and katana. She can throw her sai, sure, but that's nothing Zuko can't block

@arcus1: This is tough.... Zuko has gone up against benders with those swords and even few rounds with aang, I'm gonna lean towards his side.

Zuko would stomp if he had bending, however Cheshire wins in a cross of blades

bump still siding with Cheshire in a very good fight. She is more mobile and she has more combat experience with the blade. Furthermore, They're pretty even in speed tho Zuko mgiht have a slight edge imo. Here's a cool fight scene for Zuko tho:
