I have to go with the Wookies here. They have superior strength and agility, additionally the Klingon empire has grown way too big for its warrior origins and now nearly all of their combat is highly ritualized. They have become very sedentary. The only Klingons that regularly fight anymore are the military. For all that they are a warrior culture, they really are a corrupted beurocratic culture than anything at this point. Redundant organs would give the Klingons some more fighting time, but again the Wookies just have better base statistics. Also are we talking about top warriors from each race or an average person from each race? I mean even then the Wookies take it. Chewbacca got training from the Noghri in joint and pressure point manipulation as well as pinpoint strikes to vulnerable areas. If the Noghri were one of the most feared hand to hand combatants in the EU then imagine thier techniques with a Wookie's force behind them. Oh and ditto to Mister Anderson.

Are you ignorant of Wookies or just plain stupid? Wookies are not dumb on any level - they have average human intelligence with all the same variances humans do. Wookies were not enslaved by the Empire just for brute muscle (even though that is what became of many of them) but for the mechanical and technical expertise.

The technological comparison between Star Wars and Star Fleet has been done many times and Star Wars always wins.

I'm just curious why people think that Star Trek is more advanced than Star Wars. I am a total trekkie and even I admit that Star wars is vastly more advanced. Star Trek certainly has more scientists and their science is more varied and has a lot of people studying higher physics. But Star Wars has had their tech advancements have been entirely militarily based. Their ships are several times bigger than than Trek ships and the amount of energy they put out is enourmous. Trek ships are just too much smaller and do not have the energy output to compete with 'Wars ships.
When it comes to peaceful things like transportation and replication, Star trek is far in advance of Star Wars. However, the Federation is peaceful and there has never been any real peace in the SW Galaxy since the Clone Wars. Because of this, the Star Wars military technology is much more powerful than any Star trek race except for the Borg. Borg ships would blast their way through the Star Wars Galaxy.
Also, some of those Wookies might be Jedi. I'd like to see what the Klingons do against that.
