@dextersinister: The Flash can beat Superman period. Adding an adamantium skeleton, retractable claws, enhanced healing factor isn't necessary.

I wasn't really debating for or against that. I am pointing out this character is more like the Flash than Wolverine as all you need to do is give the Flash a very sharp knife and an incentive to use it vs Wolverine gaining the speed force.

Also take into account this is New Barry not Wally who couldn't beat Supes when I was still reading the Flash but he was getting upgrades all the time so that may have changed. Imagine how deadly Quicksilver would be with a generic knife instead of those shitty punches.

In Superman/Fantastic Four, a laser made to cut threw adamantium had no effect on superman. Not to mention superman now has krypton armour. And new 52 flash is not as fast as wally.
