Logan's gone up against 'tanks' aplenty. What in SK's power set make you believe he has too much power and will 'break' Wolverine with ease?

Kahn doesn't have to weaken anyone to take thier soul. If he wants it, he takes it...unless it is protected by the Gods.

That's a little silly.

In any case, the devil in the MU had a hard enough time just 'taking' Wolverine's soul.

If Kahn can just walk by and say 'I take your soul' then I suppose that means he takes out just about every heavy hitter in any universe, the Avengers and all the JLA as a matter of course. Like I said, something sounds fishy there.

I'm no expert on Kahn, but whatever. Thoroughly lost interest in this after reading that nonsense.

Maybe, but that is how it is in MK. It has been said and shown that Shang has to risk his life to get the souls that he needs to survive, but on multiple occasions Kahn has just taken and/or manipulated the souls of people at his whim. The only time he was ever stopped storywise was by Raiden in MK3, and by the EGs when they created rules of Mortal Kombat.

Edit: It's no more ridiculous then Papatine being able to use all his force abilites in concert, indefinitely. Now that is ridiculous.

@onilordasmodeus: I understand that, but in regards to the Battle forums, there should be a limitation to the use of that to allow for a fairer battle.

It all comes down to the OPer and how they set the rules, right? They can, and are suppose to, set the character limitations to make matches fair rather than it having to be a rule across the board. We get mismatches just because of that fact; that lack of understanding of the characters (to be fair, I'm not above this at all either).

I hate Kahn. He's overpowered and lame.

MK makes little sense, but from what I remember from MK3 and what I've watched of story mode in MK9, he can indeed steal unprotected souls.

@onilordasmodeus: Indeed and if Khan can steal souls at free will, it doesn't exactly make for a fair battle in my opinion.

@Deranged Midget: It'd be out of character for him to do that though. More likely he'll take on Wolverine with brute force and be in for a nasty surprise when his hammer doesn't hold up to adamantium.

I don't see how soul stealing is any worse than the Penance Stare, or Godblast, or time stopping, or body swapping.

I think Wolverine, although I don’t know much about Khan. What’s his speed like and does he have good gear or hax?

Khan should be above Logan's pay grade. Their physical stats are probably similar, Khan edging out in strength and Logan in speed, but Khan has way too many hax and has defeated many opponents above Logan.

My money is on wolverine. Wolverine can take damage soak beating and still continue to fight. He's fought beings far stronger than Shao Kahn on many occasions. Wolverine is a very skilled fighter and will edge shao khan out in battle. His healing factor will also help him fight on
