I think that's the general idea yeah. Considering how much weaker he became after the end of Cell saga due to severe lack of training and primarily focusing on schooling, I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't budge a bit in power. Goku was taking on Uub, who was unlocking Kid Buu's power by the end of their fight, in his base form with no visible damage besides ripped clothing.

@deranged_midget: Looking back, Kid Buu seemed weaker now to me. His main edge over Goku was just the regeneration. But yeah, EoS Goku was a lot stronger than he was against Kid Buu.

Actually, he only says kid buu is more dangerous, he never says anything about kid buu being stronger. Goku was not holding back at that time, as there would be literally no reason to, especially considering he wasn't holding back in kid Buu fight. The most logical conclusion is that Goku was telling the truth and stating that he was weaker than Buu.

I'd say Kid Buu was more powerful than Fat Buu, but weaker than Super Buu. The only reason why he was probably feared more was due to the fact that he was so unpredictable and purely chaotic. Super Buu had a degree of morals while Kid Buu acted on pure instinct.

@dratini1331: In comparison to Super Buu, probably. In regards to Goku in SSJ3, I'd say they were relatively even save for Goku's ki blasts but Buu's regeneration saved him every time while he grew weaker.

ultimate gohan was the most powerful character in the dbz series who wasn't a fusion or from a movie(bills,wiss,meta cooler) so he takes this after a decent fight

If you read the OP, this is AFTER the Kid Buu saga, and seeing that Goku only has 2 real fighting appearances after that, when he fought Bills and years even after that when he fought Uub.

I would agree otherwise that Gohan is stronger than Goku during the time of your scan.

Goku says Mystic Gohan is stronger than him before the Buu fight... but it's ambiguous whether he's talking about power level, physical level, who would win in a fight etc. Goku after the Buu fight receives another power boost from the beating he took from Buu, which along with better fighting instincts and experience gives him the fight.

Gohan on the other hand only fought Super Buu, there is no proof whatsoever that he could " Mop the floor " with kid buu, absolutely no proof.
