What evidence do you have to say that Telepathy will work on Dr Manhattan ? To my knowledge, Manhattan never was hit with any telepathic attack, so there is no evidence to say either way if this would work on him. It is clear that Manhattan's mind is significantly different from a normal humans due to it's processing of both sensory and temporal information.
Ozy could read his mind, manipulate him into cowering on Mars and finally trick him into giving up and he didn't have even a tiny bit of Xavier's powers. Different thought processes are no biggie for Xavier, this man has taken out alien minds before.

That was physcological manipulation and as for reading his mind, that was based on facial expressions (as Manhattan began life as a human, so he still formed facial expressions).
As I said, what evidince do you have to say Manhattan is susceptible to mental attacks as It looks like its an assumption.

I'm going to be honest. Manhattan is over-rated. He may be powerful, but he is no way unbeatable. People that I think/know can beat him include: 1. Anti-Monitor 2. Galactus 3. Thor 4. Yes he can Xavier can hurt cosmic level, but if they have weird defenses he will have trouble. I think X will have trouble with Magneto, SilverSurfer and Shadow King since Magneto is a genius and can design things to block his mind, Galactus created SS and made SS weird barriers and Shadow King is pure evil psychic energy so he doesn't exactly have a brain like normal people. Doctor Fate and Zatanna are some more characters who could barrier themselves against Xavier. X isn't invincble with his mind, an extremly smart metahuman with prep would beat him. Even Batman preped could beat Xavier but if you give Xavier the first shot its too much. Manhattan is really powerful like Captian Atom but there is nothing which says to me Dr. Manhattan cannot be affected by Telepathy. As far as I'm concerned, anyone that relies on physical strength cannot defeat him. A very powerful telepath might have have a chance (assuming that there is a brain to manipulate) but I think that energy/matter manipulation is the only way (Silver Surfer and the like.)
Yet again, you are all wrong. Dr Manhattan can read minds, and he protects the present past and future. so he knows every thing that is coming. so he would read their minds and then blow them up. Pwned.
@BatDance: No i think he is saying that Dr.M's Anatomy isnt that of a human's all he is is a skin ,muscle and bones... I dont think he even uses his human Brain... I think his entire structure is his mind, I dont know how telepathy would work on Dr.M, it might work but it could also confuse the Telepather due to his vast amount of knowledge and bioledgy.
Green Lantern. Although he can not get rid of Dr Manhattan, he can permanetly dis assemble him. Assuming the universe is infinite, if he were to scratter his particles across the universe, it would take Dr Manhattan an infinite ammount of time to re assemble himself.
