He does not have a weakness against magic. It just effects him like it does any other. Even then Superman still have a level of strength, speed, and durability that go beyond anyone Seph has faced.

Kefka Palazzo in his God of Magic form could most definitely defeat Sephiroth. (As a matter of fact, most of Sephiroth's most powerful abilities are stolen from Kefka)

Well... it seems in KH universe, he's Cloud's darkness and only Cloud's light could defeat him. However, by the end, Sora is able to dual wield and we see that his speed and reaction time increased due to his final fight against Xemnas and those lasers. So, I believe Sora can very well challenge Sephiroth to the point where he has to take the fight seriously, but defeat is a long way when you're fighting Sephiroth.
