@yify: I agree with every point except the Martian man hunter point. The op specifically says that Thor is immune to TP.

Thor has never shown to be immune to TP.

Giving Characters Certain 'buffs' or Removing Powers

I generally don't have a problem with this, as long as it's not overdone. Things like upgrading certain characters to a certain physical levels, or removing powers for two opponents to gauge hand-to-hand skills is fine as long as the fight is fair in the process. However, giving people like Hulk the Power Cosmic or people like Nightwing a Green Lantern ring is unacceptable because neither character has displayed the skill and/or competence to use such weapons/items. That said, it would be difficult (and in most cases, nearly impossible) for people to debate. Threads of this nature will be locked if it becomes an issue.

MM can still defeat Thor even without using TP , and that immunity isn't something that requires competence nor skill to acquire .

@yify: WM Thor is actually immune to telepathy. This was shown against both Moondragon and Adam Warlock when he used the Soul Gem on him.

@floopay: Just because Moondragon couldn't TP Thor doesn't mean no one can. And Adam Warlock with the Soul Gen is not that strong with telepathy.

@maninthemountain: moon dragon is actually one of the most accomplished marvel telepaths, for the few feats she has, so thor resisting that means that in order to break into his mind, you have to be on at least martian manhunters level.

@battle123axe: @floopay: Also have to take into account that Moondragon had the mind gem at the time which is huge buff.

@spambot: yeah, that is incredible.

Powers

The blue Mind Gem gives the owner psionic powers like telepathy and telekinesis or can augment the pre-existing mental powers of its user. When used in conjunction with the other gems, it can link its user with all other minds in the universe at once.

that's impressive because it boost moondragon's already planetary= levels of telepathy

Powers

Psionics: Heather Douglas was one of the most powerful human born telepaths ever. Douglas has repeatedly demonstrated mental psionic energy usage far in advance of all human and human mutants including that of the world renowned telepaths such as Professor Charles Xavier, Emma Frost and Jean Grey (without the enhancement of the Phoenix Force).

Douglas' most notable psychic actions were the complete mental enslavement of an entire warring planet of people,[20]psionically stalemating the sorcerer supreme Doctor Strange for an extended period of time, and mentally killing a clone of Thanos endowed with psionic powers greater than Professor X,[21] as well as being able to pierce the mental barriers of Galactus and even enabling Thanos to almost overwhelm the devourer's mind when channeling her powers.[22] All feats beyond that of Xavier and most other noted human and human mutant psychics.

Unlike human mutants such as Xavier whose powers operate as part of their biology, all of Douglas' mental powers originate from her supreme level of mental discipline, hence her concentration and ability to focus on the accomplishment of that task. All of Douglas' mental process are largely maintained subconsciously as the power and its effects will continue if she is rendered unconscious or falls asleep as done when her control of an entire planet's populace. But she must always consciously initiate the process for it to be done.

If Douglas is distracted or unable to focus her mind to accomplish an event, she can be rendered completely mentally powerless as shown when Rick Jones held her captive with a pair of headphones pumping heavy metal tracks.[23]

Douglas' mental psionic powers include:

Telepathy: Douglas possesses the ability to contact sentient minds both organic and mechanical based, as well as cosmic beings such as Galactus. Her telepathic abilities include mind-control, mental attacks, mental shielding, personality alteration, memory erasure, memory modification. Douglas telepathic range is virtually limitless, as she is able to contact minds scattered throughout a solar system without enhancement devices such as Xavier's Cerebro.

Telekinesis: Douglas's telekinetic range is low to moderate as she can only levitate herself and one or two others at the same time. Douglas can "push" her telekinetic ability on herself to attain flight or against another a single person as effective concussive blasts.

This gauntlet is horribly out of order. SA supes should be round 8.

With that in mind, thor gets sneezestomped at round 2.

So you're basically saying SA Supes can beat Sentry , H/P Doomsday , MM , Mindless Hulk ...

@justiceway: Yes. With literally 0 challenge.

SA superman dragged dozens of planets on a chain across the universe. With one hand. While he was a teenager.

SA superman time travels effortlessly.

SA superman flew at speeds(somehow) surpassing infinity, breaking through the boundary to heaven and needing to be stopped by the presence.

SA superman would speedblitz and one-shot any of the people you listed.

actually moondragon could be argued to be above mm in terms of telepathy. breaking into galactus's mind is no easy thing. keep in mind she was also enhanced by the mind gem, which definitely makes her superior to mm.

@battle123axe: @floopay: I know Moondragon is a powerful telepath, but one good feat doesn't make Thor COMPLETELY immune. I mean, a even more powerful telepath such as Martian Manhunter is still capable of entering his mind.

It's not the one feat though, WM Thor is basically immune to telepathy. Even just angry Thor is highly resistant. I believe he's resisted Loki, Enchantress, Moondragon, and Adam Warlock. Some of which have been able to affect him normally, but couldn't after he was enraged.

And thus far I don't believe anyone has been able to affect WM Thor, so resisting Moondragon should be a sufficient enough feat. She is casually a planetary level telepath, and Thanos actually needed her to invade Galactus's thoughts. Plus, I think she killed a Thanos clone at one point with her TP.

Thanks for reading,

Floopay

If you use Thor from the "Blood and Thunder" warriors madness story arc as the baseline for this WM, he nearly killed Beta Ray Bill, beat on a surfer who wasn't fighting back, then beat a full out attacking surfer, and finally surfer and adam warlock at the same time and would have killed both if not for the team fleeing, then proceeded to give thanos a good fight(thor had power gem so) but never really hurt the mad titan. So with that as the ceiling for him, he would never beat round 9 since he couldn't beat thanos alone while being amped by the power gem. And as several people pointed out this is severely out of order. SA supes shouldn't even be here. His feats are already listed and he should be replaced by a newer superman. Regular Thor is a match for Juggs and Adam and MM, especially since even regular thor has never shown a susceptibility to mental attacks. WM makes him 10X stronger, and in B&T he was still very skilled fighting not just some mindless roid raging berserk.

@brantumbo: I agree except that I think he was beginning to wear down Thanos. Pip who was narrating their fight described it as a hammer to a nail at one point with him thinking that Thanos might not survive the beating he was taking. That's when Thanos is shown smiling with a bloody nose and goes to get the energy cube gun but Thanos was definitely getting the worst of it and with Thor having the power gem he would have gone down eventually without a doubt imo.
