Vergil vs Jack the Ripper (Read OP)

• This battle is purely based on skill; Vergil's abilities (I.E. Devil Trigger, Teleportation, etc.) are restricted
• Vergil has a regular katana and Jack has his standard knives
• Speed equalized
• In-Character
• Winner by Death
• Setting is a large warehouse

Just to name some off the top of my head. He also has a minor healing factor and has superhuman stats (around the same level as his brother Dante, who can easily shatter stone with punches and survive being impaled by numerous blades like nothing).

From what Ii know of DMC, shouldn't Vergil stomp?

Apart from the first one, Luther should be capable of all of that as well, and more. Have you got a video or something?

Well from the feats you have given me, I would have to say a stalemate since Jack has done these things besides the demon slice and rain drops feat. (which I feel he could probably do.)

Feats for jack?!?! I don't think he can hang with Virgil.

All of those are speed feats, which you equalized in the OP. What's the point in this thread if you nerfed Vergil so much? Are you looking for a straight up "who's the better martial artist"? If so, Vergil is superior by a long shot.

Definitely Vergil.

@nickzambuto: Not necessarily martial artist, more-so to find out who's better with using a bladed weapon.

I also realize in hindsight that wasn't one of my better threads. I just happened to think it was an interesting idea at the time.
