you cant count on SS using the hyper space because that is literally cheating... he has to go the same way all others do and then Wally would be faster.. PLus anyone faster than light can be there instantly with no time passing as they can just choose the point of time they want to appear in...

I'd assume if hyperspace was disallowed then running through the timestream would also be disallowed.

@dredeuced: that is the exact reason why i said hyperspace is banned from this race. I just didnt phrase it properly... IF they were allowed to do as they wanted Wally and SS would get there at the same time. Probably at the beginning of time as is and they would be 2 first living beings ever just to get first there :D So yeah.. the point is in just racing it.

4 Quicksilver: Because he wouldn't even leave the grid

1. Silver Surfer - (easily number one i could go as far as saying he beats all of the other 3s combined speeds just because he supereeds light several fold)

2. Flash- (He's a little faster then supes and thats one thing that will set him apart from being obsolete in a way...although you cant take away his style of things)

3. Superman- (he's fast just a little shy of Flash and dwarfed by surfers top speed)

4. Quicksilver- (he's fast but a joke to the 3 above his top speed isnt close)

Depends on the distance - anything say, over a planet, Flash would win, followed by SS and Supes, and Quicksilver would still be in the first city. If it's more abstract, like over galaxies, then 1. Flash/SS 2. Supes 3. ___(poor Quicksilver is still stuck on the first planet).

@yify: I'm not entirely convinced that he can 'beat' Wally over a 'short' distance, given that Wally outraces (alleged) instantaneous teleportation. Surfer might match him, but it hardly seems possible to beat someone who's essentially time travelling. What I could be convinced otherwise is that I thought Wally would be faster off the mark through better reactions (and maybe better acceleration), but that could be me underestimating Surfer.

@yify: What is that meant to prove? On a scale of zeptoseconds, Wally retuned every radio on Earth before someone was able to teleport there. The picture you posted while an impressive show of power, gives no quantifiable information.

@yify: Oh man, sorry I didn't realise (I hadn't read it, only seen it in forums etc). He's got plenty of other feats which I know can be used, like testing the time it took for Superman Blue to teleport over the planet (Wally's narrative suggests he gets to the places in at least 0.00 seconds).

If time travelling is allowed its a tie betweet time travellers, they all have infinite speed, and can be anywhere they want, anytime they want.

If it is a race (on foot) I think the surfer would come last, In spite of his cosmic power, I dont think he has physical body speed (the ability to move his legs fast in order to run)

Lol because supes flies so much faster than the flash runs especially since when flying he could fly in a straight path on the streets, the flash would have to go around corners. So this race is superman then silver surfer then the flash then quicksilver although theyve proved with science that quicksilver is faster than the flash.

Depending how much of the sun superman is exposed to will determine if he wins or silver surfer
