i was reading justice league international and captain atom was asking for help vs powergirl thats why i have him below her.

Thor runs the gauntlet and doesn't get even past the first round...

Round 1:Thor. Captain Atom would get rag dolled.

Round 2: "At least make it a challenge for me"

Round 3: Great match but I believe Thor has what it takes to take him. Far more combat experience against armed foes. Make a Tornado & blast him with lightening.

Round 4: Tough call. Mjornir will break his contructs & won't run out of power. Thor wears him out.

Round 5: Thor. Simply stronger & better weapons.

Round 6: Same thing as Guy

Round 7: Superman unless Thor is Allfather & has Thorforce.

Round 8: Same thing as Guy.

Round 8: MM has the abilities to give Thor hell.

Round 10: =If DF can stay away from Thor he could give him hell. However is this is Thor as Allfather he's done.

Round 11: Lightening would reach from Wally to the bolt. He dead. Thor can summon Lightening.

Round 1: Atom if morals are off. Thor has little chance against a guy who creates universes and life. He's taken on Abstract beings before, but not on Cap's level or abilities. If Morals were on it'd be a different story.

Round 2: Thor, same reasons as Round 7.

Round 3: Thor, even in water he's a competition for Aquaman, and he is far more experienced, but it'd be a good fight.

Round 4: Thor. Mjolnir is far stronger than any construct a GL can make.

Round 5: Thor, he's been fighting longer, he's stronger, has the better weapons, and more powers.

Round 6: Thor, Same reasons as round 4

Round 7: Thor, he's stronger, more durable, has magic, the reasons go on.

Round 8: Thor, same reasons as round 4 and 6.

Round 9: Thor has a near-immunity to mind-based powers

Round 10: Thor, he deals with magic all the time from enemies like Loki and Malekith and is no stranger to them.

Round 11: Thor would need to take out Wally fast, or keep to the skies to avoid Wally, and since Mjolnir can sense energy, he could possibly drain the Speedforce from him like he's done to a couple other enemies.

Pre 52 Captain Atom was not impressive.

@saint_sophie: speed equalized? Is that exactly what it sounds like? As in handicapping everyone else to Thors speed? Is that a thing people do? Seems odd.

@sodamyat: Yeah. They do handicaps like this all the time to make it more fair.

Like if someone wants to test WW's skills vs Cap, they equalize Diana's stats to Cap's because well it'd be a stomp if it wasn't.

These handicaps can turn the tides in a battle sometimes though. If you're restricting a character from using their powers in order to make it fair, that should probably should say that the match up probably wasn't a good idea in the first place. Though, in cases like Thor or Zatanna, I find them more powerful then Supes or WW, and it's just the speed blitz argument that makes them win.

This list needs altering/changing.

Im open to changes if people list reasons why they place certain characters in certain spots. As I said before, I saw Cap struggle with Powergirl and for that reason I placed him before her.

Don't know why anyone thinks pre 52 Captain Atom could possibly beat Thor. He struggled with Power Girl and lost to Mary Marvel.

You realize Wally would be able to see and move before the step leader brings the lightning up from the ground, right? And that's ignoring the fact that Thor clearly fires lightning from his hammer and the clouds in direct blasts. Quicksilver has dodged them, recounting how easily he dodges lightning. Wally's dodged lightning many times before, as well, so by literally all accounts in the comic and even by your own video there's no way this logic works. Even beyond that, Thor would have to be accurate enough to hit a morals off Wally West, as if Wally is moving massively FTL he'd literally move before the lightning shot up from the ground because it takes more than a picosecond for lightning to move enough to harm someone, which is far, far too slow to catch Wally.

He drains his energy and beats him down. Much like a weaker Surfer (which he is).

The rest are simply too weak and not durable enough to fight Thor and win. It's not rocket science.

Atom has an infinite power source unlike the Surfer

Thor gets his ass kicked by Superman let alone by characters like J'onn and Wally who'd stomp dozens of Thor's at once

He beats Power Girl, Aquaman and Guy.

Doesn't matter his power source. His energy attacks will be useless. Thor doesn't drain Surfer's energy from his body, he merely renders his energy useless. Same with Atom.

Superman's significantly weaker and less durable than Thor. He might get oneshotted. Either way he stands no chance. MMH gets turned to mush like every time he fights Doomsday. He's also significantly weaker and less durable then Thor, and Thor's TP resistance should be enough. It's the opposite, Thor could likely take about 10 or so MMHs. Same with Flash, Flash can't really hurt Thor, Thor can oneshot Flash.

Thor isn't even faster than Wolverine or Iron Fist and gets blitzed by characters who in turn get blitzed by Spider-Man and even Captain America knows Thor isn't fast at all.Clark turns Thor's face into ran over Lasagna before Thor has a thought.J'onn turns dozens of Thor's into drooling idiots before they have a thought.Wally slaughters dozens of Thor's before they have a fraction of a thought

No one on this list can defeat Thor one on one.

Atom annihilates him in round 1. This gauntlet is seriously out of order.

Thor's fast enough to counter/fight Hyperion and Sentry and has various speed feats above being blitzed by Spidey and Cap. If we're using low end feats, then Flash can't even blitz or consistently beat Deathstroke and can be hit by slower people, lightning, sound attacks, etc. consistently. J'onn doesn't have the TP to do that to Thor, he's resisted better. Wally can't hurt Thor. Nor can he attack that fast. Most he's ever done is like...100 punches in a second. And they're not even planet busting. Thor just does omnidirectional lightning, wind, or just hits Wally and he's out.

Thor doesn't need draining to beat Nathaniel. It just renders him useless. All it'd take is a few hits, if not one, to put Cap Atom down.

@darkraiden: Funny how Sentry's and Hyperion's blitz actually succeeded and both of them are a joke in speed compared to Wally or Superman

And Thor gets trounced by street levelers through speed to where Thor admitted himself Logan is faster unlike Wally who clearly holds back

And Thor has been TP'd by characters effortlessly who are below J'onn
