The Thing vs Venom

The Thing wins. 

Eh, I mean...no.

For all intents and purposes, Thing is just a man in a rock suit. He is vulnerable to some ways Venom can attack him.

Thing should win, but a case can be made for Brock IMO. But the scenario i have in my mind it's very unlikely to happen.

Venom is faster, just as strong and resistant and has more abilities.  
 
I see Venom sneaking up on Ben by using his chameleon effect to blend into the suropundings. I see him wrapping Ben with the symbiote and making the living tendrils been forced down Thing's throat and into the organs.. I say they fill in the lungs and Ben loses his breath.... 
 
Remember when he did that that in : Venom: The Mace? Anyone?

Yeah, I just don't see how Venom wins this to be honest.  Sure now if we're talking can Thing chase Venom across the city and catch him? No freaking way, but Venom jumping Ben in a mansion with intent on killing him.... I just don't see that happening.
 
Someone cited that Venom is as strong and as durable as the Thing,  but while he may be stronger and more durable than Spidey, I've never seen anything to suggest Venom is on Ben's league in either category.  Add to that that while Venom may be much faster, I think most people would agree Thing is a much more skilled fighter I think he takes this pretty cleanly.

Venom could win.....

Wolverine has shown to take down Thing......Venom is faster / more agile. But he doesn't have a way to hurt Ben.

Theoretically, couldn't Venom pump the symbiote into the Thing's mouth or something?  Does Ben need to breath?

Venom does have a chance. He is faster / more agile. And will be harder to see in the dark. He can also sneak attack. He can move around more too, and is also smarter. I'm not sure. It's not as one sided as people say it is.

It would be a great fight but because of the night time camo id tnhink venom probably gouge out Things eyes

I'll go with Venom. For now.....

Venom would lose before he attempts any of these lethal attacks. A few thunderclaps would slow him down allowing to thing to beat him after landing a few punches.

venom will last a while but thing comes out with the win

Thing takes it just outclasses venom in strength

Can go either way, really depends which Eddie Brock shows up to the fight. Brock has been shown to be a mad brawler, and someone who can use his powers with tactical soundness. If brawler Venom shows up, Thing pummels him. Venom's got great durability, but Thing's blows will wear him down before Venom's wears Thing down. If Venom uses his speed and agility, with his camoflouge, webbing, and symbiote-smothering abilities, he can do fast hit-and-run attacks to eventually wear Thing down. So either Thing by a landslide (like 8/10) or Venom by a not overwhelming but moderate majority (like 6 or 7/10). Just my thoughts, take them for what they're worth.

THING Wins

Venom once beat superman. That battle was credible and in no way unreasonable. He one hit him and that means he could beat the Thing. All crossovers are Canon and completely accurate. All of them.

But really the thing would win. Did anyone else see when he survived in the core of a planet? Something like that. Venom would win if the battle took place on a tall a structure.

Good fight. I think Thing would take a majority due to the strength and durability, but it will be a hard earned victory.

Thing eventually

Venom Symbiote or whatever Venom host we like. Rockom would whoop him. Too small too fast & he's got long range attacks.
