who knows, but it would be the worst battle ever. both of them trying to get their cheesy one liners off while ineffectually attempting to kill each other. They probably couldn't just use a gun either. they would have to come up with elaborate death traps for each other, but without their muscle they probably couldn't even get the other guy in the death trap. just a huge snore fest if you ask me.

Actually, Joker has physical prowess to tangle with Batman in martial art combat, as he did before in many books. Although he had lost more times, he still got way better fighting skills than the Riddler. Plus, Joker gas, there are no other traps that are needed.

martial arts skills to tangle with batman? i've never seen that. besides riddler is a genius, why would he fall to joker's gas?

Joker's a genius. Anyone able to kill Robin and mess with Batman so much is a genius. Why wouldn't he? Joker can make the gas come out of his pockets, his little flower, his gloves...

I'd like to think that Joker is smarter than Riddler, plus a better fighter as stated and he's got all sorts of wacky weapons and Joker gas. I also agree that they would be constantly pulling off cheesy one-liners.

joker's insane but i doubt he is as smart as edward nigma. so i dont see nigma falling for any of joker's sophmoric attempts at comedy or at killing him.

Well, he's quite the chemist, he developes all sorts of things to mess with people, not to mention his weapons and schemes. I think that he's quite possibly on par with Nigma if not past.

I thought that Riddler was intimidated by the Joker? Always seems that way to me. I think the Joker would win.

OK, just cuz joker has fought with Batman and held his own has nothing to do with martial arts. He's a nut bag. Laws of fighting dictates that crazy beats big 80% of the time.

Also Joker has held his own against Batman a few times but I've seen a bunch of times where Joker has some crazy scheme, Batman finds him and punches him. End of Battle.

This would by far be the worst and most cheesiest fight of all time. I don't think Joker would even go through the motions of figuring out any of the Riddler's riddles unless he did something to piss Joker off like kidnap Harley Quinn.

What could the Riddler do to Joker?

Come on Joker wns easy he uses his optic blasts and.....oh he doesn't have powers?....he's just a scrazy skinny guy with zany toys and traps...well than Riddler's sonic blast would sm....what was that? Riddler is another skinny eccentric guy with mysterious motives and elaborate schemes? In that case they fight and before it's over everyone leaves the stadium goes home and watches Run's House.

In a straight fight Joker would destroy Riddler because Joker is to unpredictable even if Riddler would be winning in the fight Joker would have some trick up his sleeve to escape defeat, and get the victory.

If Riddler has Joker headed into a trap he's done  because Joker would be getting beat at his own game, and Riddler's taunts would make Joker even madder.

Joker should win be default, he is Batman's arch enemy after-all

'eh. Only reason why Joker was able to kill Jason is because Jason's mother bonked him from behind, and Jason being young, stupid and a somewhat normal kid trusted that woman he just met.

As much credit as I give to Riddler for his detective skills and intellect, in any sort of fight he's outclassed by Joker's brutalness and his tactics.

With that said, I fully believe Riddler could set a trap or something unfair, but that's hardly how the battle forum works.

I'd say riddler. I honestly think Nigma could take on Joker.

Toughie. Riddler is more intelligent in pretty much every facet -- but Joker is Joker. He is simply too unmanageable, and too lethal. If written well, and on his game, Riddler CAN take this. But Joker wins 6/10.

H2H Joker, got all kinds of crap in dat jacket.

Joker has way better feats, Riddler dies even if he has the cane (unless it can produce electric shocks or something).

This is hard. This is very very complicated to awnser. First of all, Joker is insane and a socio path and Riddler.. Just Riddles! But I think I have to say Joker. After all, he is THE JOKER!

Joker wins. The guy is constantly outsmarting Batman and making fools out of the world's best and brightest. Joker is smarter but he is also crazier and more random, which is both an advantage and disadvantage. Riddler is very smart but I don't see Joker falling for his tricks. Joker will figure out Riddler's plan and stop him. If Joker isn't jobbing than nygma is about as good as dead. Joker wins 9.5/10.
