I do not know much about Konrad. But based on the way they each met the Emperor...i say Lemun Russ wins. Russ is a madman that would only bend the knee if The Emperor was able to beat him in 3 contests...eating, drinking and fighting. Konrad fell to his knees and tried to tear his eyes out at the sight of The Emperor.

Russ is also the only Primarch to literally punch The Emperor in the face during a congregation with the rest of his brothers. Of course, The Emperor lightly backhanded him and put him in a 30 day coma. Russ was also considered by Horus to be the greatest threat to his rebellion, and sent him on a witch hunt to Prospero.

I said Russ wins, but i honeslty dont know. Konrad was a hell of a hunter and Russ is a hell of a brawler (wherever he is). It would depend on the encounter.

Holy Sh!zer you dont know Konrad 0_0

I will educate.

Konrad is considered the BEST H2H Fighter out of all the Primarchs. He easily out shone Corax in skill by so much the Corax fled rather than face him on Isvaan.

No Caption Provided
No Caption Provided
No Caption Provided

This is how awesome he is. Corax EASILY beats Logar and delivers the killing blow. Konrad blocks it, grab Corax arm, and then holds a Casual Conversation with Logar while Corax Struggles LOL.

Also Konrad fought the Lion. El Jhonson's sword play kicked Konrads' ass at first till Konrad (after getting his throat cut by the sword) rams the Lion to the gorund and nearly killed the Lion in a ground pound match.

Konrad also had a night terror (True Story, a vision) and beat Rogal Dorn down to a inch of his life. Rogal Dorn feared Konrad ever since.

Point is no Primarch was as good at Stealth and H2H fighting as Konrad.

@nerdork: Russ has brute strength and a Psychic shattering Scream power. Russ like Angron is very OP Stat wise for a Primarch and Russ is a Brawler at that. His H2H battle with Magnus was a good showing of Durability but terrible showing of skill as Magnu match Russ in H2H well enough before Russ broke his back.

Konrad base on feats vs other skill Primarchs should decimate him via H2H and Submission.

@CadenceV2: Well, it is obvious that you know far more about Konrad than I do. I always felt like Russ was one of those 'against-the-odds' type of characters, but that is solely IMO. But, in an H2H fight, based on your scans, it looks like Konrad has the edge. But, this fight can still go either way, as no one has an edge in the environment or prep. However, I'll give it to Konrad 6/10.

Nice job & wot a way to kick off this thread :)

Lets just hope these 2 are slugging it out on an unbreakable planet ;)

Imo Russ has wot it takes to bring the fight to Konrad but that may be his downful, if he can keep his emotions in check & play it smart he has the all round abilities to take the win here, but as already mentioned by CadenceV2 the major problem will be in trying to keep Konrad at bay, no easy task even for Russ.

Imo im giving the majority to Konrad 8/10

Yeah, it depends on whom is drawing the character. Clint Langley is my favorite 2000AD, Warhammer Fantasy and 40K artist.

@Rumble Man: Sanguinise is the Emperors favorite son beside Horus. Probaly equal intact. Magnus and Logar have good claim as favorites as both take the most after the Emperor in powers and Genetics.

@Rumble Man: All my hate goes to Erebus. DAMN HIM!!!

I mean, most Chaplains have the bravado and ferver to troll all of Comic Vine into inexistence. Then there is Erebus, who makes them all look like humble monks. And, i hated the way he was always so arogant with the Primarchs...God, i wanted Mortarion to kill him.

I like what how the plot thickened, basically because of Erebus, but he kind of ruined the greatness of the Imperium of Man with his trixiness. And, i am a big fan of Garro, Loken, Torgaddon..and they all hated him, so i take their side. lol

On a side note. Is that Damian Wayne?...I think Bruce is too old for recruitment. :P

I know what you mean. However some Space Marines were transform in there 20s. They are low survival rate cases. Also Kor Pharion and .. Maltador (ithink that was the guys name, Horus gene therapy and half ass Marine him too in the third HH book.) were given Space Marine Organs and Gene Therapy to be near equals.

@Strider92: Lol, but no joke, they always kill the peaceful people with their own beliefs, no matter how great their alliance would be to the Imperium; however, i think an un-Nurgle-tainted Horus would have recruited Bruce Wayne. He made Loken one of his personal councilors (whatever the name of that group of 4 was), and Loken was nothing if not moral.

Yeah we can get to that next.

For this one I am going with Angron. Horus is said to be the best all round average in stats and skill. However his gear load out (Talon of Horus and Power weapon) is not standing up to Gore Child and Gore Father wielding Angron.

Horus has shown great strategy but no specialise combat style to use against Angron strength, which is arguably the highest strength, and Angron's Gladiator style training and combat style.

Horus best Feats I seen was fighting a Demon Prince Temba and he was hard press against that Nurgle Demon Prince.

And Horus survived a top half crashing cruiser.

No Caption Provided

However Angron's Durability was a bit more impressive as was his strength.

As well his laying waste to all with smooth chops of his twin weapons.

I agree that in an all-out, no holds barred H2H fight Angron would pull the ‘W’ here, as he has the strength and durability over Horus. But, Horus will not let it get to the point where it is a rage v rage match. His extremely intelligent, calm and collective mind will allow him to be an effective tactician against Angron. Where Angron will ‘bull’ his way into the fight, Horus will be the ‘matador’. He knows that he cant trade blows with Angron for very long without it taking a toll on his body, and thus slowly lose the fight.

IMO, Horus would be able to capitalize on whatever missteps, openings and opportunities that Angron would provide with his wild fighting style. Yes, Angron is an amazingly insane H2H, gladiator style, fighter, but he has shown to have less patience, less discipline and more anger than Leman Russ, making him prone to mistakes (especially considering the opponent). And against Horus, that could prove to be a big disadvantage.

Horus’ edge would be his patience here, as he has the ability to nimbly stay away from the worst of the attacks, suffer glancing blows, and parry the rest. Horus will be able to get inside Angron’s head and aggravate him into error, as he has previously shown to be sensitive, and will lashout towards criticism (imagine him being intentionally provoked and prodded). It would take a long time, and Horus will leave the fight badly injured, but not before putting Angron to submission or death.

Horus FTW!!! 7-8/10

Dam fine match-up imo ;) love that scan of the eversor, not seen that one before.

Had a giggle when i see this as a Random encounter, has an EA ever been in a random encounter? :)

Imo Melee encounter the Incubus has the slight advantage due to the better weapons at hand & Armour but this doesnt mean even in a close encounter he takes the win 10/10 because the EA will match him move for move but having the better Weapon to Parry the Incubus will take the majority 6/10.

Stealth/Ranged attack is where the EA comes into his own in this encounter imo.He could just sit back & fire offf from his rifle waiting for the opening he needs to deliver a deadly strike from his needle-Gun or claws/Dagger.

Overall due to the EA imo having the best all "round" weapons he takes the majority win here 7/10
