TGW's Tag Team Tournament

It's been a while since I have hosted a tournament, and I thought "why not do one again?" So here it is, i'll be hosting this tag team tournament which I will try to make better than pass ones. So let's begin!

The Story

One day Thanos gets tired of all the heroes and villains in his universe, and plans to get rid of them. He wants to be able to conquer earth without any heroes trying to stop him and any villains trying to take it from him. So he sets out to find to find a Cosmic Cube, and he thinks to himself which being in this universe would have a Cosmic Cube in their possession? The answer hits him right away, he travels to the farthest reach of the universe in his light speed space shuttle landing right in front of no other than the Collectors domain. Thanos has had enough of all his losings, and constant beatings so he rushes right in and kills The Collector on sight with his most powerful energy blast. After killing The Collector, he goes looking for the Cosmic Cube. Avoiding things most villains would go after. Before he came to The Collectors domain, he had built a device that can seek out the Cosmic Cubes energy, and before you know it, Thanos was in possession of an object that would let him kill much others. He knows their are heroes out there more powerful than a Cosmic Cube ( Legion, Franklin Richards, ect ) so he seeks even more power. Thanos makes copies of himself and sends them to alternate universes to bring him they're universe versions of the Cosmic Cube. After a couple of days, Thanos has a grand total of 12 Cosmic Cubes making him more than a universal threat. Sending each of his clones to all the planets in the known galaxy. He easily enslaves everyone on the planet in Cosmic chains which bind they're powers. ( earth, Shi'ar Empire, Skrull World, ect). After he has everyone enslaved he thinks to himself "why stop here when I can achieve so much more? He now has an army of clones, and has taken control of Annihilu's annihilation wave (from all those alternate realities too) to contain the beings in every universe in creation! He steals powerful artifacts to make himself even more powerful and continues to capture every being on every planet until he has captured everyone! Doing all this, Thanos has forgotten that there are beings like Eternity, Spectre, Solar, that he should watch out for. So he comes up with a plan. He will hold a tournament to obtain beings that can help fight back. He wants only the most powerful beings, so that when he empowers them they can control and harness the power. . So here is where the tournament begins!

The Setup/Rules

• Each tag team will possess 6 members between you an your partner, 3 for you and 3 for your partner.
• One last thing for this part, you can have one thing I call an uber villain or uber hero which is a villain/hero with immense power. Like Thanos or Darkseid or Blackheart which will count as all 3 of your villains/heroes though. So say you use it for your heroes, you only get him and your partners additional 3 villains. If you both choose to use it than that's it for the two of you. Reasons I'm doing this is because I know some of you will want to use your favorite powerful villains/heroes.
• Aside from that if you don't go with the above option than you get 3 weaker like Superman, Thor, Black Adam, ect. Around that level or less. I call them lite.
• No immortal beings or unkillable beings
• You can choose beings from any universe as long as they fit in the limits (below)
• This will be an out of character no morals battle, since they have been brain-washed to the best of their abilities.
• Alternate reality versions work fine :)
• AND YES YOU MANGA LOVERS CAN USE YOUR MANGA CHARACTERS :)
• There will be 16 teams, so first come first serve. If more are interested it may change but for now it will be that.
• 6 hours of prep for prep related characters.
• Think about your team and partner wisely.
• Also make a name between you and you partner to make things easier.

@iggy_knightfall: It's not a stupid question, lol. To be honest I just gave range limits for characters, makes things easier.

@thundergodswrath: You might want to set some harsher limitations here, it's hard to differentiate between Uber & Non-Uber haha.

Anyways, are we allowed to have any duplicates? Say I want someone on my team but someone else picks that character, is it alright to also choose that character or is it a 1 version only?

Um..Schrodinger literally can't die unless he wills it himself. An omni-anything character shouldn't be allowed.

I'll try, and one only, but alternate versions can be used.

My 2 favorite debaters are not going to be in it?! :(

1.) I didn't know I was allowed to have him start off with any powers, can I have a just normal Amazo ready to get powers from the get go?

2.) Shade is incredibly powerful, he's able to channel the Darklands which is a extra-dimensional mass of Darkness. He's still got normal human physicality though, and if he can be hit with enough light to stun/harm him then he's able to get KO-ed rather easily.

3.) If Zolomon is uber I'd be fine with taking Professor Zoom/Eobard Thawne.

1-Interesting, I would rather him start off with non than, seeing how powerful he becomes with them.

@thundergodswrath: Question: Say Zen Buu were to absorb a Soul Reaper(Bleach), would he be able to get their Zanpaktou abilities? Also, speaking of the matter, do Soul Reapers get their invisibility to those who are spiritually unaware?
