Problem is in the main comics Superman is a limitless being, Wonder Woman, Shazam, Aquaman all of them, even thought strong as they are, have limited strength, to the point their biggest lifting feats is always in the hundreds or thousands, and no is not just they, Supergirl, Superboy, Zod, Faora, etc. They are all weaker than him, the only reason they are even capable of landing a hit on them is because of Superman being a good guy, not really wanting to fight, always tries to calc them down. The only real reson any of them have to keep up with Superman is their skills, magic, etc. Now, characters like Batman are just the contrary of Superman, they are good, they are strong but they are walking PIS, why? Because he is the God Damn Batman, that's why.
Is the same problem with Hulk in the Marvel universe, Hulk having limitless strength, guys like Thor, Iron Man, etc, etc, etc, aren't actually capable of defeat him. Other beings on Herald lv like Silver Surfer, are capable of contain with the Hulk because thanks to their cosmic powers, their maximum potential is limitless, Sentry is the same, only limited by his own mind and currently he has become the true Sentry, and what happened when he and Thor clashed?
Wonder Woman is much like Thor, Superman is DC's Poster Boy. He isn't mean to lose to other heroes, he isn't mean to be out shinned by anyone else, except maybe Batman, but is not something that happens in the principal continuity. Is the same in Marvel, guys like Hulk are mean to be invincible, they aren't mean to lose.
