Yeah, one showing has him what? Barely able to sustain a four hit combo from First Born, and Superman gets stalemated? Two showings, the only showings he has. His New 52 name shouldn't be brought until Godhead.

Especially when Wonder Woman put up more of a fight against First Born in every confrontation the two had. Even without her amp. ABC logic does not work.
@zhurong: not really cause it wasnt a full fight. All that tells us is that apollo is stromg enough and fast enough to tag and punch superman away(haphaestus couldn't. Superman caught his hammer) and it tells us apollo is durable enough to take a punch from a very pissed off superman. That's all that tells us.

@zhurong It's not like he increased their strength by his sheer willpower alone. He just gave them Solar energy they needed. By the same token Sun Boy can amp Superman but he wouldn't be able to beat him in a H2H fight.

Not to mention that Orion acted and spoke like a completely different character in Action Comics than his time in Wonder Woman.
In Wonder Woman he acted like a chauvinistic playboy with a temper.
In Action Comics he spoke like Thor, in an almost shakespearean manner. even going as far as to exclaim things like, "Great Fires of Apokolips!".
@highaccuser: thats debatable too in my opinion because first born was fast enough to fight orion and wonder woman at the same time. And now forst born has those tentacles to branch out with and drain his life energy.
@karazor-el Neither Orion or Wonder Woman has been shown to be as fast as Superman. Not to mention fighting both of them at the same time doesn't mean they were all using super speed.

Orion smiled at over a dozen punches thrown by Superman indicates his power level - assuming your original comment was in reference to Orion?
Dozens of punches actually,and a huge heat vision blast,none of which did any noticeable damage whereas Superman was already bleeding after being on the receiving end of a lot less.
@dondave: superman was amped by apollo and got tagged 3 times by zod and faora before they distracted him. Wonder woman didnt get hit at all. That tells me wonder woman is pretty fast in combat.
@entropy_aegis: what evidence is there to say hes jobbing? All he did eas lose to first born and stalemate superman. Peoples whole problem with that so far seems to be "well, he stalemates superman so how xoukd he possibly lose to first born, unless...but then...that would mean that firstborn is stro....nah, orion must be jobbing to first born?
@entropy_aegis: If we go by that logic then Superman can beat every powerhouse in comics. We can't go based off how they're written. Orion lost against FB and stalemated Superman. It's simple.
