yea zod is a lot faster hes as fast as superman hes a kryptonian hes just evil but super skrull is no push over and he cud fight zod for awhile
That Zod in the pic would win. Russian Zod gets beaten. Pocketverse Zod, I dunno. Smallville Zod gets beaten. Superman 2 Zod would win. Pre-Crisis Zod would win.
super skrull has all of the powers of the ff he uses a force field to hold zod still long enough to use his hypno vision not to mention he could hold his own physically for a stretch super skrull's powers are to versatile.
@logy5000: how superskrull has held his own against thor who is equal to zod in strength.
Between Mr Fantastic and The Thing endurance, he will survive long enough to create a bubble in Zod's brain (all versions of him) and that will be the end of the story.
Name one instant when either the Invisible Woman or Super Skrull have done that. To anyone with Zod's durability level, or anyone at all really.
Zod wins as he's stronger, faster, more durable and a much better fighter.
faster yes stronger debatable better fighter I see no reason at all to come to this conclusion they are both highly trained generals with great strategic minds.
@bwanasimba: Well, see the picture below: the invisible woman was able to do it to the armor of a celestial. What argument do you have that the Super-Skrull, with moral off, won't be able to do it to Zod?
I agree, it's totally theoretical, but that the nature of the "game" for these battles.
The Super-Skrull has clearly the potential to defeat Zod. Much too durable to be "blitzed" without having the possibility to create a force field in the head of Zod. And by contrast of the virtual fights between the invisible woman and the hulk, no crazy healing factor to save Zod here.
@bullpr: Sue Storm was able to do this because the energy she uses is similar to the Celestials. She's their Kryptonite. It even says that in the picture you posted. Also that was a heavily concentrated energy blast, not the bubble in the brain everyone's talking about and I am asking for.
@bullpr: Also, IW and Super Skrull are not the same. Just as Superman's feats aren't tranferrable to other Kryptonians. IW has shown greater skill with her powers than SS has and has a crapload more feats than him. In SS's defense though this was partially because he was a bit of a jobber up until Annihilation.
@bwanasimba: I know. But again, all these battles are purely speculative, and I'm not sure I have seen an argument here preventing, knowing his abilities, the Super-Skrull to create a force field inside Zod's brain.
There is of course the question of the density of Zod's brain, but I have never seen anything blocking these force fields, including Galactus (see below, and yes, as my previous scan, it's not flawless, but it complements my point).
So if I summarize:
-Force fields knows to be able to be used against Celestial and Galactus (plus Thing, Hulk etc..., at numerous occasions)
-Durability intrinsic to the metamorphs added of the one from Mr Fantastic (remember Secret War I, and the hypothesis that this durability was maybe enough to survive to at least one blast from a Beyonder fueld Dr. Doom) added of the one from the Thing: so no death by instantaneous blitz from Zod
Conclusion: based on known feats only, on the paper, the Super-Skrull should take this.
@bullpr: what issue is that from that is badass.
@dondave: I agree. But the opposite is also true. From what I read in the comics, my interpretation of the parameters of this fight is that the super skrull has indeed the combined powers of the FF and in addition is own abilities.
If you change these parameters, you change the outcome, no doubt.
For sure, if we are not talking about the same battle, it will be difficult to be on the same page at the end of the debate.
it's a classical scan about her, I think from the end of the 90's. I have to dig deeper, sorry.
