Super Power Beat Down -- Batman vs. Darth Vader

Are you familiar with the Super Power Beat Down series? The last one I checked out was Punisher vs. Red Hood. These are live-action short films with a great amount of production. It's another way to see the battles that often come up in the Battles Forum.

The newest episode is one to check out.

The 14th episode of Super Power Beat Down is also far and away the best-looking and most epic episode ever - Batman vs. Darth Vader. This will be Batman's third appearance and Darth Vadar's second appearance in the beloved live-action series that pits two super powered legends in a winner-take-all battle - with the victor determined by more than a 1/4 million fans who cast their votes on the SPBD home page. The Caped Crusader is currently 1-1 on SPBD, with a decisive victory over Deadpool and a crushing defeat at the hands of Wolverine. Vader, meanwhile won his only death match as he took down Gandalf in 2012.

Today, fans gave chosen between the power of the Dark Side and the Dark Knight in the most anticipated SPBD ever. Batman races to the Death Star to save an ally, but Vader stands in his way. It's the biggest battle yet of SPBD, featuring the Batplane, lightsabers, Stormtroopers, and of course, the Force.

Super Power Beat Down is one of Machinima's most popular live-action series, averaging 1.8 million views an upload on Machinima.

SPBD is directed by filmmaker Aaron Shoenke, who is best known for his independent Batman-genre fan films. The episode stars Kevin Porter (Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story,The Chronicles of Curtis Tucker) as Batman.

Although, was I the only one expecting for Batman to have freed Superman by that point to have him rip Vader apart? That would've been amusing.

Happy Vader ended up wining that. Was very cool to watch, and the costumes and effects are really good.

Yep. I was holding out for a moment, thinking maybe, maybe, they would have accounted for the fact Batman has no business even wielding such a weapon unless he intends to cut himself in half, never mind dueling one of the best swordsmen in the mythos... but then he started punching Vader around while the latter swinged wildly and missed repeatedly. It was just ridiculous.. they took some serious liberties with Vader in order for Batman not to be wrecked.

Clearly the power of Wenjun Chew transcends dimensions.

It was fun, but the fight would have truly lasted about 3 seconds

Second 1- Batman Throws Batarang

Second 2- Vader Throws Saber

Second 3- Vader has a couple scratches, Batman is in two large pieces

Was quite entertaining, however I think Vader could kill Batman in seconds.

I thought that superman would save bruce at the last second, oh well. I thought it was cool, and I liked the toys bruce brought to the party.

well going by the current batman in the batman and robin book, bats is currently taking out the entire apocalypse by himself lol.................. so using that logic, he could beat vader

They took liberties with Vader so he doesn't stomp Batman so badly.
