Street Level Draft Tourney (Drafting)

I decided to start a Tourny as the moment. The rules will be pretty standard Battle Forum matches. Random fights, death or KO, and standard gear. This tourney will be Street Level.

Unlike other tourneys, this one will start a draft after we have 16 people. no one will pick characters until we have 16 people, and then it will done in order of who join up first having first picks. So the draft will be as followed. 1-16 16-1 1-16 16-1.Once everyone picks 4 people for their team in this way, we can start the matches. Matches will be two weeks max before going to votes.

The limits of this tourney Street Level. Characters like Ultimate Spider Man, Master Chief, Deathstroke, Wolverine, Boba Fett, The Shadow, and Savage Dragon as guidelines to stats, and abilities as tourney limits. When the Draft comes, people can dispute your chosen characters as higher than Street if they clearly are.

If you do not have time, please do not join. Winner is proclaimed awesome sauce at the end of the tourney.

Also after we all have 4 people, how will it work would my 4 guys face off against four others guys? Are will people just vote on who's teams best? And how would we decide who wins? Also thanks!

The numbers represent the draft. Example would be the draft starts at Sync1. Then it will go to you next, then whoever is next.

1) Sync (picks a character)

2) You (picks a character)

3) Whoever (picks a character)

When the person at the end is reached, he gets to pick his character, and then the draft starts where he is at in reverse. So last guy gets two characters to pick lol. Then when it reaches Sync1 again, it bounces back. Everyone will pick 1 character up and down the ladder till everyone has 4 people on their team.

As for the matches, they are CaV style debates, you will debate and prove why your team wins against the other guys, and then votes start.

Eh, there's a pretty sizeable difference between Darth Maul's capabilities and a street leveller like Wolverine, Legends Canon or New Canon. Both him and Spider-Man are pretty heavily out of the street level class between their speed and powers. Maul, anyway, is definitely mid-tier level, and I wouldn't consider Spidey street level.

@i_like_swords: Good points, I keep having difficulty with those two as they can compete with mid tier but are always in a street level scenario in fights.

I might just take them out.

@luciustheeternal: That'd be best. I consider the highest tier possible for street level to be someone like Spider-Man, but he could be considered mid-tier. Low-mid tier street levellers in my mind range from Punisher, to Captain America, to Black Panther/Deathstroke to Wolverine. Anything above that could be entering Spider-Man territory.

Ok, ok time to start the draft! Again the rules in the OP state the guidlines were talking about here. This is street Level, and not clearly possible Mid tier. Questions on Magic, TP ect can all be found in the guidelines, if unsure, then ask.

The point of the Draft is to pick one person every turn Starting with Sync1 to myself. I will pick 2 when it reaches me and then the next person picks 1 character again till it reaches Sync1 again. He picks two and then then we will go back down the ladder to me again. Clear?
