If we are talking about GMG then Laxus one shots them without DF and without taking off his pimp coat. If we are talking about post GMG then the same thing happens.

@masteraction: I didn't really see people saying that Sting and Rogue are strong as hell. they were overhyped in the series and they turned out to be weak bitches.

@dragonking123: I think it's more because they're Dragon Slayers they get instantly hyped a bit, but if they weren't they'd probably be ranked much lower
