Star Wars: Your top 5 favorite darksiders vs your top 5 favorite lightsiders

Rules

• You must specify which depictions of the characters are your favorites, not necessarily the most powerful ones.
• You can only use a character once, so you aren't allowed do this:

Characters who were dark/light side due to being mentally dominated against their wills also do not count.

The Jedi's name is Aryn Leneer and Cade isn't a full darksider; he even becomes a full Jedi in the end.

I'd go something like:

Lightsiders:

1. Mace Windu

Darksiders:

1. Darth Vader

2. Darth Nihilus

3. Darth Sidious

4. Darth Plaguis

I think it's pretty close. Team Darkside has more consistent power, but Luke could take anyone on Team Darkside and Mace could probably take anyone but Sidious with Nihilus and Vader being very tough fights. Those two would wreck havok. Obi, Plo, and Kyle probably couldn't do too much to anyone but Dooku and maybe Plaguis. I see Luke taking down Sidious, Windu barely taking down Nihilus, Vader taking down Obi with some effort, Plaguis taking down Kyle, and Dooku taking down Plo. That leaves an exhausted Luke and an even more exhausted Mace to take on Dooku, Vader, and Plaguis. Mace would probably be heavily drained by Nihilus but still amped by Vapaad, so I think I he brings Dooku down but dies in the process. Luke's gonna be very tired after barely taking on Sidious. I'm honestly not sure he can take on Plaguis and Vader together after Sidious. I think it would be incredibly close, but Team Darkside wins 6.5/10.

Hmmmm, Difficult, Exchange Yoda for most other jedi and sith stomp. Tbh tho I kinda think the sith still take this one, Too much power on their end, too many weaker jedi. Yoda helps a lot, but not quite enough IMO, Thoughts?

Honestly, GM Luke could stomp anyone on the Sith team but all together like that, it would be more difficult. But having the combined powers of Yoda, Aryn, Ulic, and Obi in addition to GM Luke's.... it's clear the Jedi team wins with some difficulty because Obi and Aryn are the weak links of the team.

I haven't actually pinned down the Jedi I like into a "Top 5", besides say Quinlan, Luke, and Yoda.

I think the dark siders will take this. Since these are some of my favorite characters, and not the most powerful characters, I just don't think the light side can compete. Luke is obviously the MVP, but if 2 of these take on Luke, say both Caedus and Sidious, then Luke will stay busy for a while. Plagueis could likely take Jinn and Kenobi by himself, Maul and Kun would probably take on Ganner, and Vader would take on Mara Jade. Jade could stand a chance against Vader, but Ganner, unless he has a moment of Oneness, won't last long against Maul and Kun. That leaves them to team up against Jade, and she dies quickly. Then it's pretty much 5-1, and I don't think even GM Luke can compete against so many powerful combatants.

I'm inclined to side team dark side.

@themuser: I think Plagueis can match Yoda pretty well tbh even if he'd lose. With this in mind I think the other four Sith take on the other four Jedi and win with Bane making short work of whoever he fights and helping Plagueis take down Yoda.

My favorite dark siders take it. They are just way too powerful as a whole compared to my favorite lightsiders. Luke has his hands full with Sidious. Valkorion takes out Yoda. Plagueis takes out Jaina, Vader takes out Jinn, and Caedus takes out Mara Jade.

Guys, Yoda was totally wrong. The Dark Side is definitely stronger.

Luke kills Plagueis, while Jacen kills Anakin. Kyp beats Traya, Corran and Obi-Wan face Dooku and Vestara and they lose, though they probably eliminate Vestara.

Luke kills Jacen, Kyp falls to Dooku.

Luke slaughters Dooku.

Ehh, both sides have their weak link in Bindo and Vesh. I think I would side with the darksiders. Yoda is buff, but I feel the darksiders have an, overall, stronger team.

Tough fight, but I believe that dark siders wins.

Sidious can take yoda, Plagueis can take Windu, Vader can take Anakin, Darth Revan almost as powerful as Revan and Bane can take Luke easily.

Yoda beats Talzin, Jaina can beat Traya or hold off Dooku, even missing his hand and lightsaber, Anakin's TK could knock out Ventress or Khai or impede Dooku or Traya, Saba beats Khai and holds off Ventress, as does Leia.

Yeah, her Apocalypse showings were pretty impressive, and her attitude also makes her one of my favorite characters. Maybe II'll put her in a battle thread.

Saba would actually fair quite well against many characters, I think. She's definitely one of the strongest in the NJO.

It should be worth noting that the Abeloth avatar she faced was so weakened it literally didn't have a body sustaining it. Not that it isn't impressive of course, just that she physically overpowered an Abeloth avatar that was barely being sustained.

Actually, does she often manifest without a host? After all, her tentacle tried to strangle a jedi knight, and she did have a body on her planet when the Lost Tribe met her.

Is Abeloth at "full" power more powerful than the Son and Daughter, individually and collectively? The pictures of the Killiks would suggest so, yet the duo also beat her with the Killiks and technology.
