Martian Manhunter is totally outclassed here.

While Strange and Surfer have never seriously fought each other, Strange has done things to strongly imply that he would easily win in a fight such as sending Surfer to a plane where his powers don't work or mind wiping him. As for MMH, he's not TPing either Surfer or Strange nor is phasing going to matter as both Surfer and Strange can phase too. The rest of MMH's abilities just wont cut it.

@wastelandman: Surfer also admitted inferiority to Strange during Doctor Strange, Sorcerer Supreme IIRC.

Stephen even stalemated Dormammu in the same storyline of his universal conquest, which Dormmy killed all the heroes and took over the 616( Meaning Norrin as well).

Also, to those saying Martian Manhunter is out of his league here, definitely not. A case could be made both ways for Norrin versus the Martian.

Surfers powers come from the astral plane and he's never been truly defeated by TP.

Strange>Silver Surfer=MMH

Surfer has very good TP resistance due to the nature of his powers and his strong willpower so any attempt to attack him like this would have minimal affect if any. MM still has other things going for him but you're correct that telepathy will not be a deciding factor.

Doctor Strange for the majority.

I'd say so, as @citizensentry said, none have been successful at controlling him like that.

Why are people saying strange wins?

Classic strange is a beast..his magic defense is always active so the speed and TP will be negated. Plus strange routinely beats much more powerful... He has more expierence to boot.

I wasn't referring to the astral plane but a different plane where his powers don't work that Strange sent him to in the past:

I don't think that just because Surfer hasn't been downed by TP doesn't mean he cant especially when Strange has affected his mind on multiple occasions.

Don't get me wrong, Surfer can be affected by TP, but he has never been defeated by it.

Great battle, I'd say Dr Strange is the more versicoloured of the bunch and has a good chance of winning. J'onn and Surfer could go either way but more often than not Norrin wins.

Overall I'd take Strange for the majority.
