In this battle, the two iconic heroes of the Silver Age will take on the Mad Titan Thanos, who will win?

The team and Thanos each have a week of prep for this battle. Thanos knows about kryptonite

Fight takes place on an abandoned planet. Starting distance is 30 feet

All are in character. Batman and Superman are fighting to preserve Earth. Victory by ko or death.

Who will win?

(Question: I'm not sure if Thanos should have any infinity stones, any thoughts anyone?)

Adam West solos this with his Thanos repelent while Supes is somewhere else moving planets for the lulz.

This is an awful, awful stomp in Thanos' favour

SA Supes for all his power, had some ridiculously crippling weaknesses. As in " I see Kryptonite/ drop to my knees depowered" weaknesses

He had none of Post crisis supes' consistent " Imma at least struggle a bit / keep ticking for a while under Red sun/ Kryptonite" feats

With prep its basically Thanos building " Galactus actually needs to make an effort to bust through " shields vs Supes and er....Rainbow Batman?

Even if he doesn't get the Kryptonite, he just uses supes' cripplingly weak TP weakness. Or his cripplingly weak Magic weakness.

Oh and Thanos absolutely does NOT need the infinity gems for this. In fact I'd argue he doesn't even need prep here

What feats suggest that Thanos can beat that.

Really? SA Superman could solo Thanos Batman will probably just slow superman down :)

The fact that with prep , he turned Galactus into a giant spaceship / destroyer , while harnessing the power cosmic as .....

I mean just to take that one feat which you posted. Even taking that face value, the number of planets in the milky way is estimated to be 11 billion

Lining up 11 billion earths end to end would give us roughly a thin cord stretching through the diameter of the solar system

There are single STARS approaching the sizeof the solar system. Norrin Radd rides SUPERNOVAS for fun. Odin one shots him

Odin uses same thing on Thanos. Doesn't work. Tries harder, doesn't work. Dude's hurt but ticking

This is " I bust galaxies as a side effect " Odin actually having to put forth an effort

While there can be a whole lot of debate over whether Supes has shown the power to put him down with a blitz, I fail to see how anyone can argue that Thanos, with prep, cannot construct shields to last the for the seconds it would take for him to * think* " I win "

Your average superman story, though , absolutely has superman going down the moment he sees " red sun, kryptonite or magic" while getting mind controlled in roughly every fourth story and even developing one off weaknesses against specific powers like the Qwardians' bolts

I mean they came up with all sorts of excuses, heck they had to come up with a reboot to adequately explain how Superman would be threatened by.....anything given his powers

Thanos with prep gets the Ultimate Nullifier, IG, and HOTU and gets the Thought Robot armor.

Batman solos anyway

Batman is omnipotent . He will throw a gadget at Thanos and press the button .

That Superman is so broken I don't see how Thanos can win unless he could get his hands on something op like HOTU but don't think its allowed.

The powder forced him to sneeze, basically like in a cartoon where the character sniffs pepper. That Superman knew what his sneeze was capable of, considering he flew away and stated he suspected what his uncontrolled sneeze would do, I saw nothing to suggest that wasn't Superman's own sneezing power. It's also consistent with SA Superman's power displays.

Hmm...I still don't know if Thanos can do it SA Captain Marvel was pretty strong do know about Mordru what do you see Thanos doing in his prep time that allows him to win?

All he needs to do is get his hands on an artifact, such as a Cosmic Cube, which would arguably make him multiversal in terms of power.

I'd considered that an op item I could see him winning with it if its allowed the op wasn't clear on what can be done/acquired in prep.

there is no air in space hence no friction nor is any planet attached to any thing the only thing he need to overcome would be gravitation force b/w sun and earth

Thanos is nigh omnipotent. He god stomps any krptonian with mere ease. He's gone toe-to-toe with Galactus and Silver Surfer.
