• Both are in-character, non-bloodlusted.
• No prep-time, and neither have knowledge of the other.
• Winner via death, incapacitation, knockout, or submission.
• All powers and skills are unlocked, including transformations.
• Ryu has all Infinity Gems and Sonic has all Chaos Emeralds.
• The Infinity Gems and Chaos Emeralds are backed-up by every feat shown or mentioned in canon or non, regardless of hyperbole.

• Destroyed City; starting in the middle of the street below.

Typist Notes

Part of me believes this might be spite in favor of Ryu, because I've not seen the extent of the Chaos Emeralds. Let me know what everyone thinks and whether I should change things around.

Who wins and why?

@ancient_0f_days: By all means, please post the rule. In regards to that, both Ryu and Sonic have feats used by others while utilizing the Gems and Emeralds. I am not blindly just giving powers.

no just giving feats like they're the cosmic cube......if you insist.....

Honestly, throwing feats on characters just to loophole .... well, I'm not sure how crafty it is but it's clearly not the most tried and true solution to making a mismatch fair

@ancient_0f_days: It's not an intentional loophole. Never actually thought of that till now. But the condition was given because the idea came to me as quickly as I typed out the fight. The rule there does say I can add powers, and within reason I did by including context in the form of feats. Ignoring all this... what's your take on the battle? Who'd win in your mind?

Both....and it's mostly a play on the lack of Ryu's feats with the Infinity Gems since he's never used them before and all....and never had power like that in his entire existence.....might as well call this Sega vs Capcom and throw Thanos and Dr. Doom on his team since they have those feats.....unlike Ryu......but, like I said....both

Ryu gets WTFblitzed

Ryu with the infinity gems isn't ryu as a character anymore so its against the rules and would be kind of pointless any way since he hasn't ever welded them nor does add any thing special. It mine as well be eggman with the gems vs sonic.

Ryu wins assuming that he doesn't get blitzed first.

Infinity Gems>Chaos Emeralds, Ryu wins.
