rune king thor got his power by the runes (an asgardian artifact)
 
hercules got his power from an artifact from every single pantheon (including asgard) 
 
who knows maybe herc may have got some power from the runes

I will try to explain how much difference is in their power levels.
If there where infinite amount of RKTs and one Hercules, one Hercules would blink them all out of existence.

From what we've seen, CW Hercules

If you haven't noticed, SkyFather Hercules was the only person/being that killed or inflicted lasting pain onto Chaos King Mikaboshi (Rune King Thor was there and almost got himself killed..)

Then his superpowers (Herc's) have further increased like his strength has increased x10 and his defense by x5...

Herc would stomp Thor, no lie..

RKT who is like... Galaxy Buster vs someone who is near Omniverse level... :/

To answer questions, RKT can beat his father, Skyfather Hercules can beat his father... There are barely feats for SFH because he is wayyy too overpowered and biased and after his fight with Mikaboshi, he became mortal (human) once again.

Hercules wins this... We should make Hercules a Fallen Angel af, he like an anti-hero.

From my knowledge, the main enemies that RK beat was below universal level (which SFH would basically be around or alittle less than multiversal)

Thor apparently managed to get "omniscient" abilities from plucking out both of his eyes... okay, Hercules basically recreated around 98% of the universe. Keep in mind, 98% OF THE FREAKING MULTIVERSE.

While SFH fought a being who basically took out skyfather and celestial+ (higher than galaxy busters), Thor's only enemies were black and white tv copies who were around or less than universal level. SFH fought a being who threatened and actually did, damage, and almost completely took over a multiverse. Ha, beat that Mad Jim Jaspers!

Then SFH forced Galactus to appear near him to help fight Mikaboshi against his will, which is pretty impressive, telling Galan weigh's almost 2000lbs and well, he's powerful himself, he shoulda been able to counter or resist, maybe he tried to. Hercules is also stated as the strongest sky-father (of course, he's multiversal level while mostly the other sky fathers are galaxy level; odin ftw)

The main two only known and impressive feats I see here is Thor ripping off Loki's head and Loki actually staying alive and that Thor managed to get "omniscient", which to me, aren't impressive, coming from multiple people who have done way better things (Jean Grey, Charles Xavier, Lucifer Morningstar, Hulk, etc) so, cmon.

For both of them being normal, it actually depends. Thor stated that Hercules is a better h2h fighter and to me and many other great people, Hercules would be stronger than Thor, but Hercules will have problems w/ Thor when he has Mjolnir out and ready to go. I find them both easily matched when it comes to strategies, and well, Thor can fly. .w.

Who remembers when Hercules stopped this big, overpowered attack w/ only his bare hand?
