Buffy The Vampire Slayer:
Slayers were endowed with increased physical strength greater than that of average adult humans, some demons and most, if not all, vampires.
- Buffy Summers had been known to lift, with great effort, a metal portcullis which an entire group of men were unable to budge.
- Buffy was capable of bending a steel rifle barrel with little apparent effort and bending open prison cell bars, both with her bare hands.
- Buffy has been recorded throwing human-sized subjects sizable distances and effortlessly bench-pressing steel girders weighing several hundred pounds used in construction.
- Buffy once accidentally kicked Riley clear across a room whilst 'holding back a little'.
- While being voluntarily fed on by Angel, Buffy crushed a tin jug with her bare hands and was able to destroy a coffee table with a single kick.
Movement
Slayers were able to move faster and react more quickly than humans and most vampires. Buffy has snatched a crossbow bolt in mid-flight,dodged gunfire from multiple ranges, and set off a bear trap without getting caught in it. At one point Buffy was fast enough to outrun a raiding motorcyclist on his bike shortly after her resurrection. Faith has dodged shotgun blasts at point-blank range and Dana was able to dodge a tranquilizer dart also fired at point-blank range.
A Slayer was capable of superhuman feats of agility. She could leap to great heights; though the maximum is unknown (vampires seem to be able to jump much higher), Buffy was capable of reaching the roof of the original Sunnydale High School in a very short period of time, after running up a sloping wall, and then flipping onto the roof.
The Slayer's running speed was also quite impressive. Buffy, for example, was able to run fast enough to keep up with a school bus going at full speed and was able to reach the police station to save Andrew Wells and Jonathan Levinson on foot shortly after Willow Rosenberg reached there via flight,
Resilience and Healing
A Slayer's body was substantially more durable and resistant to blunt force trauma than an ordinary human's. Slayers also had several times the endurance of a common human, so it was difficult, though not impossible, to bruise them, break their bones or strain their joints.
- Buffy has suffered from a sprained arm as a consequence of fighting vampires, but seemingly healed mid-fight, despite the injury taking a toil on her fighting her injured arm being twisted once more, Buffy still could punch a vampire in the face, sending it flying, without any problems later.
- Buffy looked relatively unfazed after she had a vase smashed over her head by Tucker Wells.
- Buffy appeared only to sustain some minor damage after being shot by a high-voltage blast from the Initiative'staser blasters while normal human beings and even demons were shown to be incapacitated and require time to recuperate afterward, Buffy was fit enough to escape
- Buffy could leap from a two-story window with a man in her arms, landing on the ground and letting her body take the brunt of the fall.
- Buffy has been hit by a moving car, got up and walked off, uninterested by the helping bystanders while continuing to pursue her goal.

Selene:
- Weapons Mastery - Selene is extremely proficient with many kinds of weapons, both medieval and modern. According to her official bio, her weapons of choice are the Walter P99A, the Modified H&K USP 9mm, silver nitrate grenades and throwing stars. The films show that she also uses silver-plated hunting knives and a Middle Age sword, which she used to slice Viktor's head in half. According to the novelizations, Selene favors a pair of Beretta handguns and Walther P99s. She is also proficient with a Remington 870 Combat Shotgun.
- Superhuman Endurance - She is seen jumping from a ledge at least 100 feet (approx. 30 meters) high and landing without injury. She can leap to high places with ease, seen when jumping over large fences. She can take a shotgun blast to the abdomen without flinching. She is able to perform amazing feats of strength without fatigue and can withstand the crushing depths of the ocean without a wetsuit or breathing apparatus.
- Superhuman Strength - Being a vampire and later a vampire-corvinous strain hybrid, Selene is even much stronger than humans and most other supernatural creatures. She grabs Michael by the throat and holds him against a wall several feet off the ground, performs spectacular leaps, and strikes her enemies with tremendous force. She is able to kill younger Vampires with just a few blows and manhandles four police officers with ease. She is shown to be able to engage Lycans in close quarter combat without being harmed, even before becoming infected with the Corvinus Strain. After her infection, she is shown to be able to ram her arm through a Lycan in battle and has also gone toe-to-toe in physical fight against Marcus, despite his status as the first Vampire and a Hybrid. In the stunts featurette on theUnderworld DVD/BluRay, the Stunt coordinators mention how they have to make it look like Selene had the 'strength of ten men'. In Awakening, she uses the greatest extent of her strength seen to date when she flips a van, which has a momentum equal to 180 tons.
- Superhuman Healing - She can heal rapidly from any wound in just minutes, including sunlight burns and a shotgun blast to the abdomen. After becoming a Vampire-Corvinus Strain Hybrid, her healing powers were increased to the point where she could withstand Marcus's wing talon being impaled through her chest without suffering any visible effects and survive after being shot in the head and other parts of her body. She is also seen to be able to force bullets out of her body.
- Superhuman Speed - In Underworld Evolution, Selene was quick enough to sprint by and incapacitate a group of police officers without them being able to keep up with her movements. In Awakening, she is shown speeding through two lines of armed guards while slitting their throats with a scalpel in the process, and then disappearing in an instant. She also demonstrates speed akin to teleportation when she breaks into a scientist'sapartmentand moves right next to him in an instant.
- Superhuman Agility - Selene is able to perform athletic moves, such as doing a back-flip into a hole in a bridge, and leaping from tree to tree in an instant. In Awakening, she is able to do a spinning headscissors to a Lycan, and is seen jumping over two cars with one hand. Selene's agility has proven to support her lack of strength compared to the Lycans, allowing her to take on multiple Lycans at once.
- Blood Sorting - In Awakening, Selene demonstrates the ability to absorb and read another Immortal's blood memories (similar to that of what the Elders did) by drinking the blood of her daughter, Eve.
- Immunity to UV Light - Due to her nature as a Vampire-Corvinus Strain Hybrid, Selene possesses a pure Immortal's immunity to UV light. At the end ofUnderworld: Evolution, her eyes are shown to turn almost a pure white, and she is now able to walk in the sunlight.
- Sensory Synchronization - Selene and her daughter can perceive each other psychically when in a relative close proximity to each other.
