This fight happens in the Chunin Exams Arena, Ruby gets her standard gear, both types of ammunition, and Semblance. Lee gets all his feats pre-hunt for Sasuke arc, 10 shuriken, and 5 kunai.
Well, I didn't set the battle up well, so here goes:
Ruby Rose (RWBY) vs Rock Lee (Naruto Chunin Exams Arc). Ruby gets her scythe with both types of ammo, her Semblance, and her scythe. Lee doesn't have his weight anklets, and can go up to the 5th gate. Both combatants start out 15 feet from each other, as far as Lee knows, Ruby is just a scythe wielder. As far as Ruby knows, Lee fights like Mercury Black (another RWBY character).
Um, Ruby would have her Semblance. That gives her about as much speed as Lee.

Nonsense, lee's asexual nearly the whole series except towards Sakura. If he's determined to win and his opponent is attacking him he'll do the same most likely by KO, the sheer differences in stats makes this onesided. It's borderline unfair if he can use gates.

Not nonsense, Lee is known as a gentleman towards women, and i doubt he would come out the gate blitzing a girl who looks 13.
Once the match starts, lee is puzzled who his opponent is leading to shock and pause, while ruby shoots him dead out of the gate.
Lee has NO experience with guns and ruby"s speed will catch him off guard.
Thats the thing, in this match he is NOT determined to win, so he wont be going his hardest (Gai said to only use the gates when absolutely necissary), but on the other hand ruby is a seasoned mercenary, she Will go full throttle from the start.

If at any point he decides to take his weights off he's effectively untouchable by her. Lee was already pulling off the disappearing act thing with his weights on, no weights is very much out of the ballpark. He could dance around her the entire fight and just come in and KO her on a whim.
Where does the OP says Lee isn't trying? In character if he's in it, he's after the W with raw determination and pure youth. Whilst you're at it show me Lee treating a girl differently rather than TenTen and Sakura.
Hm... At this point Ruby would be 15, so yeah... I don't think Lee would see her as a 13 year old. Also, I thought we agreed that Ruby is as fast as Lee naturally.
@courtoftheowls: Oh and putting speed aside distance is an important factor. If Ruby can keep Lee at bay she can take this, but if Lee gets between her and her scythe shes finished.

Except it also took Cinder's eye and ability to speak. Most likely knocked her out too and it didn't seem to be a direct hit to boot. Though, i wouldn't use silver eyes feats in battle just yet until she master it.

After we still haven't been given any info on the so called mythical silver eyed warriors
For all we know right now they could even be some type of protectors of the Maidens themselves and have the jurisdiction to choose who is worthy and who is not of becoming a host to said powers

@iamduck: it more like how cinder got her power tho.....but yeah look like right now Ruby don't have anything to confirm that Her power work with someone like rock lee so okey! She lose.
@tjtheduelist: Base Lee was already doing current Ruby's after image trick while in base so I don't know what you're smoking but I want some if you think Ruby is blitzing Lee in any way
