I'm under the impression that Nova is nothing more than an intergalactic Class 100 brick with basic energy manipulation/generation powers. Am I right. even though I haven't read many of his appearances?

Didn't he reabsorb the Nova Force when he purged Worldmind of Ego's influence?
@CosmicSpiral: Did he? I haven't seen anything that'd suggest his overall power up after the ego event I'm pretty sure the Worldmind just went back to the nova corps center and did its usual duty.
He doesn't have the full Nova Force, the Nova Corps are still operating. There are less Nova Corps than when Ego/Worldmind was leading them, but there are still a lot. Richard is Nova-Prime and has the most access to the Nova Force, but that's about it.
I think maybe Quasar might just win, but either have the potential to win, and IMO World Mind would tell him of any draining along with his past experiences with him etc...
