Silver Surfer, but Quasar is going to give Surfer a really hard time. To me, Quasar is almost in Silver Surfer's league (Ikon classified Wendell that way before).

People are making it sound a lot more one sided than it actually is. Quasar was shown superior to Surfer before the Annihilation boost Surfer got during Starblast story arc, Quasar knowingly had to lose the fight for the multiverse.

After the boost that likely wont happen and Quasar can just as easily drain surfer, a tactic he has used before.

To paraphrase Wizard magazine from a few years back: Quasar may wield a powerful weapon, but the Silver Surfer IS a powerful weapon.

I want to see the opinions of this nowadays so bump.

Silver Surfer's has better feats for nearly everything whereas Quasar's only shot is to drain him ....which itself requires getting around Surfer's own energy draining/resisting capabilities and the small issue of Surfer being ridiculously faster

Finally! Anyway, Wendell wins because he is as fast (no travelling speed), has just as good durability, just as good if not better damage output but is WAY BETTER ENERGY MANIPULATOR. Surfer maybe has more powers, but Wendell has counter for most of them and uses Draining often.

I think Silver Surfer wins. It will be a hell of a fight, through, and I can see Quasar winning too, just not as often. Keep in mind, that the analysis I'm going to do here is in case Silver Surfer is bloodlusted. Sure, Quasar is a better energy manipulator, but the fact that Surfer is also an energy manipulator means that he could offer some resistance to being drained by Quasar, even if all he can do is slow down the process. On top of that, I'm pretty sure that the amount of energy that needs to be drained from Surfer in order to defeat him would be massive, which, combined with Surfer's own energy manipulation powers, means that Quasar will need more than just 1 or 2 seconds to drain him completely. Supporting this is the fact that when these 2 fought, Quasar tried to drain Surfer for a short time, and the effect was insignificant, as Surfer was still powerful enough to give Quasar hell, all of this happening before Quasar threw the fight. Also, while Quasar can keep up with Surfer in reflexes, Surfer can fly faster than him (as far as I know, at least), which is an advantage, even if small. As for what can Surfer do to Quasar, he has matter manipulation (a power that Quasar doesn't have). I don't know how resistant is Quasar to matter manipulation, but he would have to be quite resistant to win, considering that Surfer is a powerful matter manipulator. Also, Surfer can turn intangible (another power that Quasar doesn't have, as far as I know). I don't know if Quasar has any way to cancel intangibility, because if he doesn't, what's stopping Surfer from phasing through his constructs and forcefields, then phase his hand through Quasar's brain or heart and then solidify again? Also, I don't know how Quasar deals with gravity manipulation, as (in theory), Surfer could make his Quantum Bands ridiculously heavy. I know that won't stop Quasar at all, but the sheer discomfort could stun him a bit, giving Surfer a bit more time to try something. Yes, I'm a big fan of Silver Surfer, but I'm no fanboy, so I'm open to being proven wrong about this, or any matter.
