Diggle literally can't win a fight.

@linsanel_doctor: Yea it is. They have a second fight in the next episode as well. I don't want to spoil anything, and its hard to discuss the context of the fights without spoilers.

I will say that it should be noted according to Melvin that if Frank aim (in the video you posted) was off by a fraction of an inch Matt would have died. Melvin implies that Frank's shot was so precise he managed to crack Matt's armor without killing him.

Punisher absolutely murders Diggle. Like, Frank won't hesitate with shooting Diggle right in the head.

Are spoiler-free Punisher feats possible?

Frank. Too brutal and ruthless in both H2H and with a weapon. His CQC with firearms is amazing.

I'm only on Episode 5, but they both have their advantages. Diggle's much faster stronger, and more skilled in H2H so if he closes the gap its over. But Punisher is a far better shot and won't hesitate to go for the kill. I'd side with Diggle because I think his bullet proof suit should allow him to close that gap and bring Frank down.

@samjackson: Yeah. I'm pretty sure it tanked a bullet in the episode about Argus with the Andy flashbacks. It may have also tanked a shot from a Ghost once but I might have seen that wrong (shaky choreography). It hasn't tanked anything from a heavy firearm though so depending on what Frank's using that might not be such a huge factor.

Are all of Team Arrow's suits bulletproof? And yeah he has heavy firearms, he's not using standard bullets either. His bullets were capable of ripping through body armor, through the front and out the back.

@samjackson: I know Ollie's Suit is basically impervious to all ballistic damage. Diggle's is bullet-proof but the upper limits haven't been tried thus far. Roy has tanked bullets, so in theory Thea's Suit is also Bullet-Proof, but in the same biat as Diggle's Suit. It stands to reason Laurel would also have a bullet-proof suit given everyone else on the team does, but she has no feats as far as I know.

@firestormfate1919: I honestly don't remember any of them tanking bullets. Do you have any videos or episode numbers so I can check?

@samjackson: Not at the moment but I was planning to go through and verify those feats at some point. I'm too busy right now though.

From what I've seen, its a close fight. Diggle probably takes round 1, but Punisher definitely takes round 2.

There's a scene in an earlier episode where he drops (I think) six guys in spread in about half a second or less with a pistol. And I am not even exagerating that.

That episode 9 fight scene in the Prison was insane. Frank should take both rounds just cuz.

Yeah...tbf, so can standard issue ammunition. It isn't so much the round as it is the fact that assault rifles rip through just about anything at 150 yards or less. An ar15 will blow through steel plate like it wasn't there at that range.

It takes like 20 lbs of ceramic to stop an assault rifle.

Wait I think Diggle has a face gaurd to his helmet. Diggle should be able to protect his eyes then.

In H2H Frank might just outlast him though as he is much more durable.

In Round 2 it should be close to be honest. But, Frank actually took bullets and is willing to comment stone cold murder. So he should win. I actually think Diggle is the better shooter. But, Frank is more cold.

Going with Diggle. If Diggle isn't jobbing to make Ollie look good. Them he is capable of fighting the Punisher. Diggle has better stats to edge him the win.

After watching the prison scene just re affirms frank is stomping Diggle 10/10

No one's doing any stomping here. Give this thread 2-3 months, after everyone let's the awesome factor of a new great show die down, and the opinions will change quite a bit.

@allstarsuperman: while greatly injured and starting of unarmed beating and killing those armed prisoners is better than anything Diggle has done

Anyway I've already addressed it the other Arrow threads being skilled in an unskilled Universe means nothing in battle forums at the end of the day no one has shown any actual fightingy ability in Arrow end of story the y need better choreographers if they ever want to make any of the fighters seem capable

@allstarsuperman: Well there's a difference between "killing" and "beating". Frank is a lot more ruthless and isn't ashamed to fight dirty i.e eye gouging.

@samjackson: @royal_warrior: Needing to kill against 7 prisoners (aka general tough guy thugs) really isnt that impressive in comparison to taking down elite soldiers with just fists, and holding back, not going for the kill. And here's the part where you're entire argument gets based on choreography....ugh

No that's absurd we go by feats and the choreography is the feats at the end of the day Diggle is just a brawler who has no skill I'm sorry I know you and some others love CWverse to bits but to say there skilled is a bit of a joke

You can say they're skilled in the respected universe but that means little when fighting people who have utilising actually fighting skills

@allstarsuperman: Who said he needed to kill them? That's just his character he's more ruthless and he doesn't mind killing. The fact Diggle "holds back" and doesn't go for the kill puts him at a disadvantage in this fight. Frank doesn't mind taking cheap shots and doing whatever it takes to win and things like that matter in a fight. IMO Frank also has the higher damage soak and pain tolerance which gives him another advantage over Diggle. And here's the part when you're entire argument is based on taking more than one punch to KO an enemy.... ugh

Yes they will. Same thing happened with DD. When the show dropped it was like: HE CAN FIGHT Arrow. Then we sat back...Negro NO. :D

Same way I feel what will happen with new movie Deadpool: He can flip and look cool: HE CAN BEAT MCU CAPTAIN AMERICA!!! Once the high wears off characters come back to earth.
